Why the need for Mentoring?
Jennifer is very hesitant
to use technology and
online resources. Our
induction program has
transitioned from paper
portfolios to online
documentation and
submission. This
transition has Jennifer
feeling overwhelmed
and unsure.

Future Plans
Jennifer would like to use Google classroom for
her caseload. As a case carrier, Jennifer manages
13 student’s Individual Education Plan for the
ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder). Using
classroom, would allow Jennifer to provide
parents with resources and access to her
classroom curriculum and IEP paperwork.
Reflection
Working with Jennifer was very rewarding. Our
district often wants to implement new
technology but does not provide adequate
training. When introducing new technology,
follow up training throughout the year would be
highly beneficial.
