Students in Ms. Rathjen's class display a wide range of development, intellect, and behavior. Students in this school are from divergent
ethnic, social, and economic groups. Many of them require individual and small group instruction.
What are some of the specific strengths seen in this teacher candidate?
Ms. Rathjen is a highly motivated self-starter, demonstrating initiative and creativity in classroom activities. She is dependable,
prepared, and organized. She has a warm and positive personality. Ms. Rathjen uses engaging and effective teaching strategies. She is
dedicated to the teaching profession and strives for excellence in all areas.

Elliott has a very diverse student body. We have student that speak a variety of different languages and that come from a many
different cultures. We also have many student that have experience substantial trauma or are currently going through trauma. We are
a Title 1 school.
