A. Work done in the past two weeks

1. Perform the microhardness test for the heat treated samples

2. Received the new welded samples (fillers no. 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, and 4043)
3. Start preparation of the tensile samples from.

B. Issues raised in the past two weeks

1. Recovery the hardness in the HAZ in all samples,

2. The average of the microhardness in the fusion zone in the heat-treated samples is in the
range of 130 to 140 HV0.05

C. Plan for the next two weeks

1. Receive the other three fillers (no. ,1, 5, and 7)

2. Prepare the all of the tensile samples for the as welded condition,
3. Analysis the porosity metallographically and by the given x-ray photos.
