Implementation of Feedback
After receiving the feedback, if I were to revise my podcast I would start at the very
beginning and make my introductory music a little bit shorter. Tyler and I had ours for
approximately 15 seconds which did not seem like very long, but when preparing to listen to a 20
minute podcast, 15 seconds was lengthier than we realized. Doing so would make the rest of our
podcasts easier to listen to if we were to keep recording.
Going forward, another thing I would revise my podcast for is to have sound effects to
add pizazz or maybe ask each other more questions. This would make for a more interactive
podcast that the audience may be more able to relate to than just Tyler and myself speaking
about ourselves the entire time.

Learning Reflection
Looking back on my podcast, I have learned that revision can only be beneficial. The
more practice one gets with something, the better the end quality will be. If I were to go back and
do this project again, I would pick a topic for it that was less broad. My topic was memoir but if I
were to do it again, I would break the episodes up into memoir that came with different emotions
versus just broad memoir. This would allow for more detailed and in depth podcast episodes. I
would also listen to the final a few more times in order to ensure that the time frames that we
replaced the words lined up a little bit better.
Something I would definitely keep the same after doing this project is including my
personality in the podcast. It was a lot of fun recording with Tyler because we were both able to
be our goofy selves. Next time however, I may focus on something that is more serious and more
geared towards education and enlightenment versus fun.

Alternative Use/Future Directionsore

The technology that we used for our podcast was simply voice memos on our cell phones
and a photo editor as well in order to manipulate our podcast cover photo. We initially did not
consider using the voice recorder because we did not ever think about recording a podcast
episode with it. This allowed us to utilize even the simplest technology in order to produce
something fun and exciting. Using the photo editor also allowed us to utilize something that we
would normally only use for things such as Instagram photos and turn it into something
educational. These are things that we may have not thought about using this technology before
previously but this project allowed us to expand our use of the tools at our fingertips.
