Responsibility

• Checking daily reports of KPI’s and Analyzing the worst performing cells based on high call drop rate(TCH drop),
SD drop rate, Handover success/failure rate, Poor uplink and downlink Quality in Network. To improve the overall
signed KPI’s of the area classes (Urban, suburban & rural).
• Measurement of physical parameter like Latitude, Longitude, Azimuth, Tilt and Configuration
• Primary optimization for verifying existing coverage, sites design objectives, pointing coverage holes.
• Identification of correct Handover Targets for sites on all major traffic arteries.
• Single Site Verification for acceptance and approval of new site
• Neighbor addition between 3G and 2G sites.
• Coordinate with customers to get parameters setting and KPI of existing network
• Reviewing network evaluation report on Frequency Plan provided by customer
• Generate and provide technical presentations to the customer
 • Involve detail discussion with RNO team leader and customer for Route definition, Cluster planning, KPIs
acceptance criteria, Drive Test methodology and Initial tuning acceptance procedure
• Responsible to deliver daily project progress and weekly task report
• Analysis of network health reports, CBH & Work on Worst performing Cells.
• Updating BA List.

Drive and Optimization

• Analyzing Interference, Call Drops, Handover failures, Common Pilot Channel Received Signal Code Power ,
Common Pilot Channel Interference Ec/No, Scrambling Code.
• Performing drive test and post processing of drive test data and performance analysis of each site and tuning of
each site after drive test analysis using MapInfo/MCOM tools for drive test route planning, data analysis, neighbors
list defining.
• Responsible for performing pre-drive test and post drive- test for New sites, BSC migration.
• Optimizing neighbor list, Handover control, RF parameter and frequency retuning.
• Generating Coverage plots, C/I plots, Rx Quality plot and reports generation for the customer presentation.
• Analyzing drive plots and log files of different sites and planning to overcome those issues which are collected on
log files.
• Monitoring some parameters of KPI’s (HSR, TCH Blocking, SD Blocking) and planning to keep those values with in
Bench Marks.
• Planning Frequency for New Sites maintaining minimum interference (C/I and C/A) in the existing network.

BTS KNOWLEDGE

• Checking of IDB H/W Problem of Ericsson RBS (2964, 2954, 2111, 2204, 2206)
• Monitoring MO Fault Maps, Diversity, IDB inconsistency, Rx Path imbalance.
• Complete Knowledge about Connectors, antenna, Cable routing (site auditing for quality).
• VSWR measurement and Distance to fault measurement.

• Clearing Punch points(cable labelling,connectors,water proofing)
