Summary of Qualifications
• Extensive medical knowledge both from classes at the University of Central Florida as well as learned
while on the floor in the Emergency Department.
• Over two and a half years of medical scribe in the ED working in close relation with doctors and medical
professionals in high acuity situations with both adult and pediatric patients.
• Held a leadership position as a trainer in a medical scribe program training new scribes for a position in the
emergency room.

Professional Experience
Medical Scribe Trainer. Work in close relation with the doctor in the emergency department to write medical
charting for the provider.
• Wrote the chart for medical, billing and legal reasonings depicting the stay of a patient in the emergency
room.
• Helped to train future scribes and promote the qualities necessary to work in the emergency room and
adequately perform a chart that will meet billing/legal requirements.
• Closely shadowed the physician and participated in the medical decision-making process that occurs with a
patient in the emergency room.
