All droids in training must receive an in-depth understanding of the Separatists’ hierarchy and

management system, as well as general and combat procedures before promotion to battle droid:

Combat:

-When in a unit, the highest-ranking droid present will always be in command, meaning his word is
law and must be taken as an order. In the event the commanding officer is killed or MIA, leadership
of the unit is always passed on to the next highest-ranking droid.

-It is the commanding officer’s responsibility to ensure the safety of his unit. The unit’s safety as a
whole should be prioritised over the safety of an individual. However, this is up to the commanding
droid’s discretion, especially if the individual in question is of exceptionally high ranking and the risk
has been thoroughly evaluated.

-When engaged in combat, distance is vital to ensuring victory as it is the only advantage a gun user
has over any force wielder. Gaining distance between your opponent should always be top priority
alongside ensuring you have ample room to strafe to avoid reflected blaster shots.

-When engaged in combat with an enemy gun user, cover is essential for out-trading him as the
result of the battle will be entirely dependent on who can hit the most shots, and reducing your
enemy’s visibility on you will greatly reduce the amount of shots you will take.

-It is standard procedure that droids do not act independently during combat situations, as they
have poor CQC skills and can be easily killed if singled out. Droids will generally be placed within a
large group or assigned a force wielder to ensure their safety during raids.

General:

-General Grievous and Count Dooku are equal in ranking to General Kalani when it comes to control
over the Separatist Droid Army, whereas Emperor Palpatine is the apex of the hierarchy in the
Separatist Alliance and his word overrides all others’. Other high ranking named Sith (Darth Maul,
Asajj Ventress, etc) hold more control over the Separatist Droid Army than Droid Commandos but
less than General Kalani.

-When in the presence of an individual of commanding status (Tactical Droid+ and high ranking
named Sith) it is standard procedure to stand at attention and salute. When in the presence of
multiple of said individuals, only one salute is necessary. This does not apply to those individuals
who have stated otherwise.

-Always refer to individuals of commanding status by ‘sir’. When in a formal situation such as a
de/briefing, PTS will almost always be required unless stated otherwise. Close-ended questions are
to be responded to with either “yes, sir” or “no, sir” and replies to open-ended questions do not
require PTS. Reply with ‘roger’ to communicate that you have heard and understood a command or
comment.

-Do not ask for promotions, they will be given out at General Kalani’s discretion and his alone. To
qualify for a promotion and hardware upgrade, after reaching a high enough combat level or
performing consistently well, you will be given a task/mission to complete and will be evaluated on
your performance.
