slave under the hands of a few different slave owners. Through faith, he survive
and endure those 12 years as a slave.
Comparison
A.Maganda ang Maputi Vs. Maganda ang Kayumanggi
In the review of Nicanor Tiongson in the book, he said that most of the Filipino
here in our country are beautiful because they spend money to take some surgery
to become beautiful and those men and women are the one who act in the
movie. They lost thier money for them to become famous, but when it comes to
other country like the protagonist in the movie they are free to act because color
is not a basis for you to be able to become a star. Just give effort and sense on
your fashion, you can reach it.
C.Mabuti ang Inaapi Vs. Mabuti ang may sariling isip at Gulugod
In the book the protagonist are the one who has a pathethic role even he has a
choice not to be threaten like that. While in the movie of 12 years a slave, the
protagonist have a bright idea to find a better sollution to be free from being a
slave.
Reaction
As I researched this movie in the internet, as I read the article about 12 years a
slave, this movie win in Oscar. It isn't obused because when I watched it I feel so
proud of him he faces those challenges and he find ways to be free on that
situation. But in the other side I feel angry in William Ford because he have no
limitations to treat Solomon on being a slave why did he need to make some
punishment and make him suffer.
When it comes to the writer of this movie I also amazed because he write it very
well because the twist of the story and the sequence is unexpected unlike here in
the Philippines we can guest on what are happen in the end.
