Questions:

1. What do manipulate and control variable mean?

2. What is constructing operational definition?

3. Is it legal if we accept the work of research service?

4. What is the most common cause of research failure?

5. If there are two research having different result, is it replicable (valid) or not?

6. How to get a good operational definition? Manipulating and controlling the data?

Answers:

1. Manipulate: when you do research, in experimental research, you manipulate the

variable in terms of variation. So, you can compare one variation to another variation.

Control: you must keep the variable constant, for example like gender, whether it is male

only or female only, ages whether it belongs to the group of 20s or 25s only, or the

similarities in occupations, hobbies and some sort of the like.

2. Some concepts need definition in order for the reader or you yourself know or understand

what it (the research) stands for. It must be clear in explaining thoroughly regarding what

the researcher must do.

3. It is illegal. Because the research is conducted, designed and made by other people so it

will lack the originality of the research which is forbidden. If we get caught doing the
research using illegal services, we will get punished based on the constitution of our

country regarding the act of scamming.

4. Failure on research means the inability to receive the goal of the research, it may be

triggered by the application of the wrong instruments so the data that we get will turn

wrong as well, or, not accordance with the research design.

5. Replicable also means re-do-able, replication is a technique to test the validity of the

problem. So it is by far, valid.

6. Good operational definition means that we follow the procedure or our own research

design thoroughly from the beginning until the end, without skipping even one step

during the process. So by doing that way, we may consider having a good operational in

our research project.
