The learner performs improvised music or sample music of South, Central, and West Asia.

Objectives:
1. Identify and described the Musical Instruments from India
2. Appreciate the importance of Instrumental Music

I. Subject Matter:

Topic: South, Central, and West Asian Music.


Lesson: Music of India
Materials: Audio Materials, Visual Aids
References: World Wide Web, Music and Art Grade 8

II. Procedure:
A. Preparatory/Routinary Activities
1. Prayer
2. Greeting the class
3. Checking the attendance
4. Checking and passing the assignment

B. Developmental Activities
1. Motivation
Arranged the picture puzzle
2. Lesson Proper
The teacher will discuss the following:
2.1 Instrumental Music of India
2.2 Classification of Musical Instrumental from India
3. Generalization
Matching Type (Game style)
The teacher provides pictures and papers with instruments’ name written
on it. The students who will catch the cadies will be the one to answer
and paste the paper on its corresponding picture.
4. Application
Group performance (4 groups)
The students will improvised atleast 3-5 instruments of India and will use
it to perform a song or music.
