Summary scope of the contract:

1. Single Phase, Three phase and CT and PT Operated Three phase Smart Meter with suitable in-
built communication technology
 2. Meter Data Acquisition System (MDAS)
3. Meter Data Management (MDM) System
4. Peak Load Management (PLM) System
5. Auto Recloser,Sectionaliser,Fault Passage Indicator (FPI) and Distribution Transformer
Monitoring Units (DTMU) with communication gateway
6. Remote Terminal Unit (RTU)
7. Retrofitting of Numerical Protection relays in the existing panels, either by replacing existing
relays or by installing in empty space available on C&R panels.
8. Outage Management system (OMS)
9. Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA)
10. Smart Grid Control Centre hardware such as Server, Workstation, Storage, Network devices
& printer, Display system etc. And all necessary software along with valid license
11. Integration with existing GIS mapping, IVR system, ERP, CRM, Billing and collection
system, consumer portal.
12. Planning, deployment, tuning the communication system including GPRS/GSM to meet
performance requirements as specified in the bid document
13. Cabling associated with communication systems and power supply source
14. Leased line connection for R1U from service provider,GSM/GPRS SIM cards or any other
alternative communication and 2x2 Mb/s static ISP connection in control room and minimum
2 Mb/s Communication link between RAPDRP data centre at Shimla and Smart Grid control
centre at Ponta Sahib.
15. Training regarding Smart Meter, DCU, DTMU, FPI, RTU and associated Communication,MDAS &
MDM, PLM, OMS,SCADA & Protocol, Database, MDAS , User Interface and application
software.
16. Maintenance of complete AMI, PLM and Outage Managemcnt System for the four years after
completion of operational acceptance after first year completion of operational acceptance
(defect liability period).
