Joe have gained a bit of knowledge of the art of canoe building from trials and

errors and the major part of his knowledge comes from both of his grandfathers,
their methods were refined with each canoe they build.

The method they used is a traditional one and is a highly accurate one to make sure
that the canoe is in the shape it needs to be to function effectively.

In one of the steps of building the canoe, Joe must start digging out the wood in
order to shape the place where it is used to carry the passengers, this is done by
using chainsaws to rough out the blocks , following that with wedges, hammers
and crowbars to remove out the salient chunks of wood.

Joe has respect for nature and the way thigs have turned for the tree they cut and
used to build a canoe, he believes that this tree lost its life and roots in the ground
but it started its new life in the water to live again and explore with the travelers.
