HOW TO FIND: ACCESSIBILITY
1. Go to settings

VoiceOver
This feature is for students who are blind
or have a vision impairment. It helps
students see what is on the screen by
having it read to them.

You can use this feature for:

● Buttons
● Icons
● Links
● Apps using the default settings
GUIDED ACCESS
This feature allows for teachers
to keep the iPad on a single app,
and control which features are
available to the students. This
feature can help students, even
those on the autism spectrum,
to stay focused on learning.
ASSISTIVETOUCH
This feature helps with students
who have a difficult time touching
the screen.

● Students will be able to use


this feature to access different
apps by using different
actions/ gestures.
● Once turned on, the second
screen will pop up and that is
were you will be able to access
all the apps with just tap.
HEARING DEVICES
This feature allows for students
with hearing aids to have better
audio quality while participating
in activities on the iPad.

You can connect hearing aids


through:

● Bluetooth or
● Pair Made (Hearing Aids for
the iPad
DISPLAY ACCOMMODATIONS
This feature makes the screen
easier on the eyes for those
students who have a sensitivity to
bright lights, color blind, or low
vision.

With this feature, you can:

● Invert colors
● Color Filters
● Reduce White Point
