Final Reflection Paper

The reflections we had after completing projects really helped me see what types of

mistakes I would make and sort of brought up a theme of grammatical errors or just small errors

in general. The feedback was helpful and were errors I could easily fix. Learning through

technology and about technology in this class has been really helpful for me and has encouraged

me to get feedback from peers or friends outside of class to go over my papers or projects.

I enjoyed this class, however I did get challenged with a couple of the assignments. For

example, I have always struggled with procrastinating in other classes and I can honestly say that

I did procrastinate with a couple of the projects we had at the beginning of the semester. But,

after seeing how difficult it was to finish a project in such a short amount of time, I started to

take at least a whole week to work on the projects. For example, I knew I needed time for my

podcast assignment, since I knew I was going to interview several people. Overall, I am glad I

stopped procrastinating my projects and worked on my time management.

This class has helped me learn with technology, however I have already had experience

with technology before this course with my other classes at ASU. Every class I have taken has

involved technology and I have had to make a podcast, a video, and powerpoint in my past

classes. I am not saying this course hasn’t helped me learn, however I knew how to do most

things we did in the class beforehand.

The very first assignment we had was about the IgnitED Labs where we had to find how

three different technologies were related to our majors. That assignment challenged me because I

unfortunately chose to do it sort of last minute and procrastinated the project. However, as the

semester went on i knew I could not procrastinate projects anymore, so by the time we had the

Expression Module Project I made time throughout the week to work on it and be happy with

how it turned out.

After giving feedback several times in this class, it was interesting to view so many

different projects and ideas. Some of them gave me inspiration for the upcoming projects. I

really enjoyed seeing how creative people can be, seeing their designing style or the way they

word things in their videos or podcasts to get a point across. Giving feedback to others would

obviously help them, however it would so help me improve my projects or inspire me with new

ideas.

I think the only thing I would change in past projects would be having better time

management and have enough time to be happy with the results, without errors. This has taught

me to not procrastinate with my other classes’ projects as well, and I am thankful this class made

me realize that. That being said, a goal I have for myself for next semester is to improve my time

management skills. I think this skill is very important for any class and career.
