College is a rough time in everyone’s life. This podcast is about how
to get through college including tips from college students. This
podcast contains information that all college freshmen should know
or things that they might experience. We talk about the things that
we experience and how to cope with issues that we face. Our
podcast will give you tips and tricks to live the best college freshman
life that you can live, and other helpful information.

This podcast is about college life and helpful tips for college
students.

GENRE OF PODCAST
This podcast falls into the educational genre of podcast because it is
geared towards giving insider tips for freshmen in college to help
them get acclimated to college life. This podcast includes real life
experiences that both hosts have lived through, and experienced. It
is designed to inspire college students and help them with the
changes they face coming into college.

DESCRIPTION OF HOST
The hosts of this podcast are Destiny Stanaway and Aiyana
Clayborne. We are both studying special and elementary education
as first-year students. Destiny is from Michigan and Aiyana is
originally from Florida, but because of having a military family, she
moved often. We are both very outgoing individuals.

ESTIMATED LENGTH OF SHOW

The podcast will be about 20 minutes. We will discuss our experience
as freshmen in college. We did not research prior to making this
decision. This is a shorter podcast most others are around 40
minutes to an hour. We wanted it to be informative but didn’t want it
to be too much information at once.

PROPOSED FREQUENCY OF SHOW

The estimated frequency of this show would be bi-weekly, so that
our listeners can tune in and hear how our college lives are going
and we can give them tips, advice, and things to try. Bi-weekly is the
best time to have this show since we are college students and we
have busy schedules, as do our viewers.

SCRIPT VS OUTLINE
The method we plan to adhere to when we do our podcast is a
general outline of the topics that we plan to talk about. We will
normally discuss topics internally. Although there will be occasions
where we interview some of the college students on our campus to
get outsider opinions and experiences. Having internal conversations
will stick to the overall theme of our podcast style. Bringing in
outside opinions or experiences will show our listeners that they are
not alone, and that all students experience similar experiences and
problems.

COVER IMAGE
The purple is for our favorite color and it has the title of our podcast
with our names. The pencil represents the classroom and the lily
represents our devotion to school and obtaining our degrees.
