experiences, the transition from high school to college and the struggles of
being teenagers.

We are a group of girls who talk about teenage issues as well as

transitioning from high school to college.

Our podcast fits into the category of “personal journals” because the things
we say in the podcast are our own thoughts that are very personal. The
podcast does in fact act as a sort of journal because it lets us express the
way we are feeling in a conversation format.

Description of Host

Nora- A fun-loving go-getter with a great attitude. She's always willing to

start up a conversation and loves to make people laugh.

Addy- A quirky, sweetheart who is always down to help and cheer you up.
She has an amazing fashion sense and a personality that makes your day.
Ana- A soft-spoken kindhearted girl who holds so much passion behind her
words. She's always there to makes you laugh and tell you a funny story.

Estimated Length of show

In this section describe your desired average length of show that you are planning to create.
You do not have to be overly specific, but focus on the general time length, will this be a 10 min,
30 min, 60 min, or 2-hour show? Describe your rationale for combing to that decision, was your
decision informed by research? What about your audience or other related podcasts, how does
this fit in? – Note this is the estimated length of the show if you would create it for real – NOT
the estimated length of your pilot for class.

Our podcast is just about an hour long. We came to the decision of an

hour-long podcast because we thought that would be the best length that
would allow each of us to express all of our thoughts in a thorough way.
Our podcast was not influenced by research. Our audience is those who
are teenagers or their first year of college. Within the hour, we are able to
discuss all of our topics and share our ideas.

Proposed Frequency of show

In this section describe your estimated frequency of show (once a week, twice a week, once a
month, seasonally, etc.) and a rationale to support your proposal.

Our podcast is twice a month because we are busy with school and just life
in general so this way we are not on a strict schedule that will stress us out.
We are able to just enjoy making it instead of it being a chore.

Script vs Outline
In this section discuss which method you plan to adhere to with the production of your podcast.
Will you choose to use a scripted narrative or will you only use an outline of topics? Will you
interview guests or just discuss the topic(s) internally? Provide a short (max one paragraph)
rationale for your decisions on this delivery method.

We use an outline of topic questions for our podcast. This allows the flow of
the conversation to go more naturally instead of it sounding fake and were
able to build on eachothers comments to keep the conversation going.
Since there's four of us there isn't much a need for guests.
