Injection Pump Timing

1. Turn flywheel in counterclockwise direction to 3° before top dead center in compression cycle.
2. Turn injection pump timer counterclockwise slowly and align mark on timer with mark on injection pump.
3. Place injection pump on pump bracket, then tighten injection pump retaining bolts to specification.
4. Tighten adjusting bolt using injection pump coupling wrench tool No. 09511-2500, or equivalent, to specification.
5. Tighten injection pump through bolt to specification.
