Role of women in modern society

Abstract:
Life tends to be much more tough for women as compared to men. In the modern society that we
live in, women tend to be much more independent in their work and life like men are. But in doing
so they have to go through a tough routine, because they have to carry out the tasks of the home
which are set by the moral or the cultural values of the society on her shoulders and also she has
help her husband or father to take care of the finances of the home and also to maintain the
standards of living. But in many areas the women are still not given the importance or the
equivalence that they deserve. The women are more towards the changing of the customs of the
society and they are trying to depart from their traditional roles to have their identity and to use
the powers that they might have for the betterment of their selves, their country and ultimately the
whole world.

Idea of Research:
The main idea behind this research is that the women were never given importance in society, but
on the other hand the women when they stepped into the field of education, they have started to
proof themselves and they tend to be more independent. They have started to change the
stereotypical thinking and the traditional ideas that the women should only be limited to the
kitchen, they have stepped out of their homes and are the bread earners like their fathers or
husbands for their family. Every field that they have stepped into is now developing faster, and the
world is now moving to betterment. But there are still a few questions that are yet to be answered
and this research would help to find out those answers.

Research Question:
The primary question is, “What is the role of women in the modern society?” which is followed
by several other questions as, “Is the country actually moving towards betterment after the
contribution of women?”, “What are some of the main fields the women are participating into?”
