Situation
Unethical behavior of teachers has been heard about across the globe. For this reason the United
Nations has imposed strict laws. As per the situation I have personally been through, these laws
must be strictly applied to all the educational institutes where any teacher leading to unethical
behavior shall be heavily punished. I once came across such an unethical situation during my
school days when one of my mathematics teacher used to hit me physically with a stick for no
reason. She might have some personal grudge for me. Whenever I used to enter her class, instead
of letting me sit she used to hit me on my hands with a stick while the rest of the class bullied me
as a result instead of helping me out. Although I complained against her to the senior head
teacher yet there had been no positive outcome. Nobody ever took me seriously or took a
significant step to stop this physical abuse. That year had been the toughest year of my life and
this physical abuse by an unethical teacher has become a harsh reality of my life since then.
Educational Research

Introduction:
There have been found a number of unethical issues in the field of teaching. These issues may
include taking bribes from the students, physically abusing them, sexual harassment and others.
Teachers who are manipulative and use wrong approaches to harm children by being selfish are
termed as unethical teachers. These teachers are selfish, speculative and harsh towards the
students intentionally. Teachers are considered to be the role models for students. Thus their
attitudes matter a lot for the students as they adopt their practices. Their wrong attitudes can
strongly affect the sense of justice and morality of a student. An example of this could be taking
a feedback from the student which should be the honest one instead f punishing the student for
getting a bad grade in a subject. Those teachers that adopt ethical practices tend to encourage the
students always an do not punish them. They encourage students to work harder even if they
have failed so that they are not demoralized. Such an act makes the student work harder and
strives for excellence and do not let them feel inferior from others.[ CITATION Ken19 \l 1033 ]

Each youngster ought to be instructed and the United Nations has made it one of the crucial
human privileges of each kid. Perceiving the mischief in having uneducated people and the
significance of an educated citizen. There are a few obstructions to powerful education that
collectors and providers of instruction have managed since time dedication, and a portion of
these hindrances are established in our morals. The list of exploitative issues in education that
occasionally go about as hindrances to viable learning can be said to be limitless. The
educational codes of numerous states necessitate that instructors be people of good character.
Most states additionally grant instructors to be expelled for untrustworthy behaviors. States
additionally prohibit specific types of offense. These include kid misuse, physical abuse, lewd
behavior and drug misuse, and their infringement might be reason for suspension. The sorts of
offense managed by the law are normally acts that are dishonest in any unique situation.
Educators, similar to other people, are required to not steal, hit, do assault, misuse kids or take
part in inappropriate behavior.[ CITATION Kur15 \l 1033 ] The meaning of corrupt behavior in
the law has not gotten equivalent with abuse of criminal law. There is little in the significance of
improper behavior that is particular to instructors or educational system. Educators' ethical
behavior has moral strength in connection to students. An instructor should encourage moral
polished methodology and think about the ethical effect of their activities, choices and frames of
mind towards students.[ CITATION IIC19 \l 1033 ]

Lectures Review
Proficient teachers ought to create as deep rooted students, intelligent masterminds, and moral
pioneers epitomizing the beliefs of education, grant, and social equity in a different and
consistently evolving world.[ CITATION Jul03 \l 1033 ] National Council for Accreditation of
Teacher Education has characterized airs of an instructor as the qualities, duties and expert
morals that impact conduct towards understudies, families, associates, and networks. This
influence understudy learning, inspiration, and advancement just as the teacher's own proficient
development. The auras or the attributes of the teacher therefore directly affect all with whom he
interfaces.

Various studies have been done in differentiating the qualities of a teacher. Verifiably,
investigate studies have yielded plentiful arrangements of characteristics and mentalities
displayed by successful instructors.[ CITATION San17 \l 1033 ] Murray etc. al (1995)
recognized explicit qualities that were related with compelling instructors. These attributes were
assembled from an assortment of points of view including: understudy feelings, perception and
instructor self-revealing.[ CITATION Ren95 \l 1033 ] These investigations crossed more than
seven decades, yet they reliably distinguished normal and explicit airs. For instance premium and
eagerness in their subject and understudies, regard for all understudies. Worrying about
understudy learning, decency and compassion for understudies, and others that are related with
student focused educators.[ CITATION Har07 \l 1033 ]

Educator demonstrable skill begins from the supposition that instructors have authority and duty
to settle on choices to the greatest advantage of their understudies. A huge stretch of writing
tends to the expert qualities of teachers, in any case, a complete report that would include those
fundamental attributes was not found. An endeavor was made in recognizing the instructor
qualities utilizing understudy result as a limit foundation to choose the attributes from among a
few that are accessible in the writing. Research demonstrates that understudies accomplish better
when instructors have a wide exhibit of abilities and adjust these aptitudes to various settings.
[ CITATION Jer86 \l 1033 ] According to Evertson (1980), high accomplishment high frame of
mind classes were portrayed by great association, a high extent of time in instructional action,
and errand direction. Low accomplishment low frame of mind classes were confused,
unstructured study halls with less assignment direction. It was additionally discovered that there
is an unmistakable connection between great homeroom the executives and understudy learning
and conduct that shows the connection between the full of feeling conduct of the teacher and the
understudies' scholarly accomplishment and demeanors in a similar report.[ CITATION Car80 \l

Objectives
An educational research is the fundamental way of collecting school of thoughts regarding how
teaching standards could be made better. Everyone has his/her own opinion regarding best way
of teaching. How correct is one’s opinion could be determined through a proper educational
research. Some researchers think that positive encouragement by class teachers would lead to
negative academic results while others think vice versa and support positive encouragement by
the teachers in the classroom. To what extent this is true could only be analyzed through a proper
educational research. In this study, we ought to find the reasons and solutions to the emerging
problem of unethical behaviors of teachers in the classroom. The main objective of this research
is to study different unethical behaviors of the teachers in the class rooms and find a viable
solution to these emerging problems. The reason behind carrying this educational research is to
construct new knowledge regarding teaching and learning situation to bring reforms in the
educational practices. The subsequent study will elaborate what are the best teaching practices
that should be adopted by the instructors, how these practices will help in making students
perform better and bring about better results. Also what practices by teachers can help students
get motivated to achieve their aims and enhance their cognitive skills. Also how peaceful class
room environment can be made for students in order to attain knowledge and learn without fear.[

Discussion
The best asset and quality in schools is our teachers. They play the major role in the educational
institutes as a trainer. They have the biggest impact in shaping the lives of the children. Their
impact is beyond the impact of any other thing on the students in the educational platform. Their
code of ethics is the major concern for every institute. They should adopt educational
professionalism in delivering quality education to students and achieving the goals of a true
teacher. They should pass moral values to students and should not judge them in any possible
scenario. The craving for the regard and certainty of one's peers of students, of guardians and of
the individuals from the network gives the motivation to achieve. It also helps in keeping up the
most noteworthy conceivable level of moral lead. The educational standards are presently not the
way they used to be in the past. Teachers especially from the public schools have shamed this
profession very badly. They have become the objective of savage analysis. Most of it not
justified and have seen their self-governance diminished or killed completely. Their aptitude is
rejected and their sentiments have been overlooked. They have come up short on good attitudes
and are being accused for things that their deficiency. Such teachers have to be assessed by
invalid estimation instruments. Educators are the best resources of any training framework. They
are the fundamental part of any educational system. They remain in the interface of the
transmission of information, aptitudes and qualities. They are acknowledged as the foundation of
training framework. Quality way of education by a teacher is subsequently vital and has been all
around acknowledged to be fundamentally connected with the progress of student. The nature of
instruction directly affects the understudies' learning results specifically.[ CITATION Jay04 \l

Teaching standards can be divided into two categories. At the foundational level it is the
situating of educator instruction decides its temperament. Educating is a multifaceted and
specific action. In this way, is housed in single reason establishments in greater part of nations
around the globe. The subsequent level is the structure of educational plan. This may include
what ought to be instructed and how it ought to be educated. At this level Schulman's (1987)
conceptualization of educator's learning is important. It gives the base of instructor training
educational plan structure. As indicated by him, an educator ought to have subject substance
information, general instructive learning and the learning of instructive settings and objectives.
They ought to have the option to utilize this information imaginatively to manage regularly
changing study hall circumstances.[ CITATION Lee87 \l 1033 ] In the event that we dissect
instructor training frameworks in various nations training change endeavors fixated on
transforming the learning base of instructors. Likenesses can be seen in educator training
educational program crosswise over different social orders. Nonetheless, the issues and
techniques to determine these change and are setting explicit. Every educator accepts various
commitments. One of which is to cling to a lot of standards which characterizes proficient lead.
These standards are reflected in the accompanying code of morals. These go ahead to the
instruction calling and the open it serves gauges of expert lead and strategies for execution. This
code will apply to all people authorized by rules built up by the Board of Teaching.[ CITATION
Ras14 \l 1033 ] A teacher will give proficient training administrations in a nondiscriminatory
way. An educator will endeavor to shield the understudy from conditions unsafe to wellbeing
and security. As per state and government laws, an instructor will uncover classified data about
people. This is just when a convincing proficient object is served or when legally necessary. An
instructor will make sensible disciplinary move in practicing the power. This will be to give an
air helpful for learning and will acknowledge an agreement for an instructing position. Thus it
requires just assuming appropriately or temporarily authorized for that position.[ CITATION
Rya12 \l 1033 ]

Recommendations
Teachers must follow the ethical codes of conduct while performing their sole duty of teaching
the students. Before joining their jobs as a teacher, they take oath to fulfill their obligations with
great zeal. So they should keep up their words and should not show unethical attitude in the class
rooms. Not only they are playing a big role in shaping the futures of the children but are also
responsible for teaching them manners and ethics for the rest of their lives as the child’s moral
character is being built till he or she is 7 years old. In light of the literature research I strongly
recommend that teachers must be strongly punished for their immoral attitudes. Any teacher who
is caught abusing verbally or physically, harassing the student or in case of any kind of immoral
activity observed, shall be banned forever from the teaching profession. All the teaching
credentials, academic titles and honors shall be taken back immediately from them and
abandoned from joining any other educational institute. This would be a lesson for all the other
teachers who even think of harming the students any way. Also to eradicate teacher’s unethical
behavior, one may pose heavy fines on them in order to stop such an act. Schools must adopt a
policy of not giving promotions to teachers who even have a single complaint regarding their
attitudes towards students so that they would be extra careful in future. Kindergarten teachers
who tend to harm little students should have their teaching certificates revoked so that they may
not be able to continue teaching profession. All these are the mandatory steps to bring reforms in
the field of education where teachers are considered to be no less than the parents and they have
started acting like enemies.
Conclusion
Teachers have always been the role models for children. They should motivate the students to
build a strong moral character. For this, they need to set themselves as good moral characters for
the students as students would adopt them from the teacher. Teachers have to make the students
alert while motivating them to adopt moral practices and values that are used to m old their
personalities. One of the best ways to achieve this goal is to make teachers realize that they
should not consider teaching as a profession only and should rather consider it is a mission. It
should be a distinctive mission for them to give a vision and a direction to students to be a better
person. They should prepare the students ethically to face the society in the best possible way.
Teachers are considered to be among the most mindful beings of the world. Their acts of
morality and intellectualism can make students follow the good qualities. The success of
teaching profession is not just achieved through the good skills of teaching or how technically
sound a teacher is but also through the emotional intelligence of the teacher. The level of teacher
in the educational system is very high. A proper directional teaching practice may lead to
dynamic development of the mind, heart and body of the student. It also helps in the mental
development of the student. Emotional intelligence is comprised of self-awareness and how good
you are at handling a relationship. Education is the most important platform which decides how
one’s personality will be shaped in the future. A teacher thus acts as a sharpener for the destiny
of the child and thus in turn the entire nation. A teacher’s character and mental disposition
inspire the student’s development of behavior and its modifications. Teachers have to put more
efforts towards their emotional intelligence and enhance their values, practices and
responsibilities towards the students. They should identify their own problems first, resolve them
and then identify the problems of the students so that they could be resolved in an even better
way. They should adopt appropriate strategies to help students succeed at every stage of life.
