1.0 OBJECTIVE
Upon completion, students should be able to:-
- Understand the types, selection and fabrication of various
components of steel structures
- Compare the viability and performance of the various types of
multi – storey framed structures
- Compare the various types of building enclosures
- Understand the techniques of accommodation of mechanical and
electrical services for complex buildings
- Understand the various types of complex roofing systems
- Advise and apply the appropriate techniques of alteration,
demolition and refurbishment and their related temporary works
and safety measure required
