Part III. Questions

1. Were the learning resources and other materials arranged properly, according to
their functions and characteristics, to facilitate the access and use by the members
of the school?

Yes, the learning resources and other materials were arranged properly according
to their function and characteristics. Some materials can be found inside the
classroom and some are found outside the classroom in a common area where all the
children will be able to have access to it.

2. Are the guidelines and procedures clearly stated and disseminated? Do the
guidelines and procedures facilitate easy access to the materials by the teachers
and even the students?

Yes, at the start of the school year, the school makes sure that the parents and
teachers know the guidelines and procedures inside and outside the classroom. The
guidelines and procedures that are provides an easier time for the students and
teachers to access the different materials that are available.

3. Are the resources and learning materials fully utilized by the members of the school
community?

Not all the materials that are found in the school are being fully utilized. Like the
computers, Ate Nelly said that the students barely use the computers provided
because they concentrate on the more important learnings such as writing, reading
and speaking.

4. What are the strengths and weaknesses of this LRC?

Since Alphabet House is a Semi-Traditional school, the LRC materials are all
integrated inside the classroom to be able to facilitate the learning of each child properly.
The strengths of integrating the LRC in the classroom is having more materials to use
during discussion time and students are more motivated to learn. The weakness is that
since the LRC is integrated inside the classroom, they only have limited space to use the
different materials
