GOODWILL

Ladies and gentlemen, it is a great honor for me to be given a chance to

speak a goodwill speech here in front of you as a student from ZNNHS as an
SPJ student from grade 7 until grade 10. Before we start, I just want to say first
to all of you that I want to use this opportunity to share some of my stories
like how did the mother of school organization affected me and help me and
shaped me to be a better student.

Since elementary when I was in grade 4 student, I’m starting to like to

join in an organization in which students who are a member of an
organization serves their school. That time, it is my first time to join in an
organization and that organization is supreme pupils government and I run as
PIO. In that moment I was so nervous to run because I was thinking that what
if I lose then what will happen next and those questions makes me more
nervous during that time. But still I do my best during our campaign and
unexpected things happen that makes me very surprised and happy because I
am the one who has a larger number of votes that’s why I became happier that
day.

From that I learn many things about being a leader or about

leadership. Based on my own experience, it gives benefits not just for our
school but also for ourselves. I learned more about myself and develop my self
confidence. Joining a student organization presents many opportunities to
learn more not just about yourself but also about your goals and your
strengths. We can also learn from how other students handle certain
situations and sometimes it has our current knowledge. So once again I want
to encourage all of my co-students to join a student organization whether you
join as a member or choose to lead one.
