Firstly, I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to Professor Dr. Myat Thandar,
Rector and Professor Dr. Tin Tin Kyaw, Pro-rector, University of Nursing, Yangon,
for their permission to undertake my study in clinical area.
I have grateful thank to Associated Professor Daw Wai Wai Oo, Head of Adult Health
Nursing Department, University of Nursing, Yangon, for setting in clinical practice. I
also thank to all lecturers, assistant lecturers, tutors and instructors in Adult Health
Nursing Department. They do not only taught nursing lectures but also gave guidance
how to learn in clinical area.

I also wish to thank Daw Thet Thet Thein and Daw Nilar (Matron), Yangon General
Hospital, for their warmly welcome and helping us in clinical field period. And then, I
also wish to thank Sister Daw Ompai (Ward Sister) and all staff and trained nurses in
Tropical and Infectious Disease Unit, Yangon General Hospital, for their helping
during clinical practice.
