AFFIDAVIT OF DENIAL

I, BENJAMIN INCLAN DE LEON of legal age, Filipino, married and a resident of

Purok 3, Brgy. 19 Buhangin, Butuan City, Philippines, after having been duly sworn to in
accordance with law, do hereby depose and state:

1. That I was born on 24 December 1967 at Zamboanga City, Zamboanga del Sur;

2. That I established my permanent residence in Purok 3, Brgy. 19 Buhangin, Butuan

City, Philippines;

3. That for the first time in the year 2007, I applied for a record clearance from the
National Bureau of Investigation;

4. That I received an information from the National Bureau of Investigation on that same
year that my namesake, a certain BENJAMIN DE LEON, has various pending criminal cases
for Estafa, Sum of Money and Replevin docketed as Criminal Case Nos. 217249, 217246, 217255,
217254, 217253, 21752 & 21751, 217250, 217248, 217247, 217245, 217257, and 217256, pending
before the Regional Trial Courts of Pasay City and Cainta, Rizal and the Metropolitan Trial
Courts of Manila, Makati, Quezon City, Pasay City, Parañaque City and Cavite City;

5. That I hereby unequivocally deny involvement in the aforementioned cases;

6. That I also declare under oath that I am not in any way involved in any case
proceeding as either plaintiff/complainant or defendant/accused in the Philippines
and abroad, specifically with regard to the aforementioned case;

7. That I have been employed or residing in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia for six (6) years to this
date;

8. That during the years when my namesake committed the aforementioned crimes, I
was studying and living in Zamboanga City, Zamboanga del Sur;

9. That I am executing this Affidavit to attest to the foregoing facts and to deny
absolutely and entirely any involvement in the case/s aforementioned and for all legal intents
and purposes.

I, ALFREDO MATUGAS CORO II of legal age, married, Filipino and with

postal address at the Municipal Hall, Del Carmen, Surigao del Norte, Philippines, after
having been duly sworn to in accordance with law, do hereby depose and say:

1. That I am the incumbent Municipal Mayor of the Municipality of Del Carmen,

Surigao del Norte;

2. That I have applied for a record clearance from the National Bureau of
Investigation;

3. That as per verified records of the National Bureau of Investigation, it is shown

that my namesake, a certain ALFREDO CORO has been criminally charged
before the MTC Mandaue City Branch 14 for Oral Defamation docketed as
Criminal Case No. 29558 and is pending in the same court;

4. That I hereby unequivocally DENY any knowledge and involvement in the

aforementioned criminal case;

5. That I further attest that I have neither been criminally charged nor in any way
involved in any case proceeding as defendant/accused in the Philippines
and abroad;

6. That I furthermore declare under oath that I, ALFREDO MATUGAS CORO II

and ALFREDO CORO, as charged, do not refer to one and the same person;

7. That I am executing this Affidavit to attest to the foregoing facts out of my

volition without undue influence from anybody and to deny absolutely and
entirely any involvement in the case/s aforementioned and for all legal intents
and purposes.
