Material Safety Data Sheets

Safety data sheets are not required for these ribbons

These ribbons are articles, an "article" means a manufactured item: (1)

which is formed to a specific shape or design during manufacture (2)
which has end use function(s) dependent in whole or in part upon its
shape or design during end use; and (3) which does not release, or
otherwise result in exposure to, a hazardous chemical under normal
conditions of use. Any product which meets the definition of an
"article," would be exempt from requiring an MSDS.

Food Contact
The European Regulation 1935/2004/EC deals with materials and articles intended to come into contact
with food. The principle underlying this Regulation is that any material or article intended to come into
contact directly or indirectly with food must be sufficiently inert to preclude substances from being transferred
to food in quantities large enough to endanger human health or to bring about an unacceptable change in the
composition of the food or a deterioration in its organoleptic properties. The use of Easyprint ribbons as listed
in the table below, is in concordance with this Regulation and the LFGB (previously known as BGA
requirements).

Regulations (CFR, 175.105) and in these instances the Easyprint ribbon (T1L) is in concordance with these
requirements.

requirements of UL laboratory certification with regards to readability (barcode scanning) and durability
(resistances) of a printed label
