Improv Constitution
Improv Constitution
It shall be the duty of the Executive Staff to choose the appropriate attire for
each performance and convey that decision to the members of the organization in a
timely manner. Any accessory or article of clothing that is deemed distracting or
conflicting with group’s uniformity may be asked to be removed at the discretion
of the Executive Staff.
Rehearsal Procedures
All members are asked to remember the following guidelines during rehearsals:
Please arrive to rehearsals on time and ready to improvise. Plan to stay in
scheduled rehearsals for the entire rehearsal time. If any Executive Staff
Officer singles out any member in regards to performance dynamics or style, it is
not to be taken personally. The Executive Staff are responsible for the
performance quality of the group and should have no personal issues with the
members.
Games
Members of the organization are allowed to propose new games and forms to be
performed by the group. Members are encouraged to write the structure of the
game or form and be able to explain how it works. The Executive Staff is
responsible for accepting any propositions for new forms by a two-thirds (⅔) vote.
New games will be introduced in practice. No games shall be used in performance
that haven’t been practiced in rehearsals prior. Please remember that the
Executive Staff must consider other repertoire, rehearsal time, and upcoming
performances before accepting a game. Written outlines of all games/forms,
however, will remain on file for possible later performance.
Performances
The casting of a particular game/form within a setlist will be decided by the
Executive Staff within the last rehearsal prior to a gig.

may submit a request for reimbursement. The member will be paid the equivalent
of half (1/2) the price of the gasoline required for the trip. To be eligible,
members must have driven at least one (1) other member to the performance and
back to UNCG campus. Reimbursement requests must be submitted within a week
