Performance Self-Evaluation

Kinsley’s Shoprite Bakery

Brodheadsville, PA
Julia Craig

Executive Summary: Over the past year I have completed the tasks expected of me effectively
and efficiently. I have learned different positions in the bakery other than my own to be able to
help when needed. I respect my co-workers and bosses as we work together to complete our
goals and expectations. I plan to continue to work hard and improve in different areas to be able
to benefit the company.

Accomplishments:
Customer Service- I have helped customers respectfully with urgency to help answer
their questions and provide them with the desired product they’re looking for. I have also been
able to handle unsatisfied customers and provide them with information that may help them.
Time and Efficiency- I wrap all the baked goods needed to be wrapped before my shift
is over, tag them correctly, and put them out for sale or store them properly.
Range of knowledge- I am one of the few people who can help in other areas of the
bakery other than my assigned job. I wrap the baked goods, but I am capable of mixing as well
as decorating.

Area of Improvements:
Availability- Although I complete what is asked of me, I am unable to work as much as
needed due to being a full-time student and having another job. I can work with my schedule to
make myself more available.
Motivation- I sometimes come in to work exhausted, but I could fight through that to
show more motivation which could bring better morale to my co-workers as well as customers.

Areas for Continued Learning and Development:

Products- I want to know as much information about the products sold in the bakery, and
with every shift I learn something new. As I continue to work, I can ask questions and study
different products. This will allow me to answer most questions customers ask about the
different products.
Decorating & Mixing- Although I’ve learned the basics of decorating and mixing, I
hope to continue my progress with these different areas so I can be able to teach others as well. I
will continue asking questions and practicing within these areas.

Looking Ahead: I am hoping to open my availability to allow me to work more for the
company. Working more will also result in my learning more. I’m hoping to see myself working
about four days a week, not only wrapping, but mixing and decorating regularly too.
