Literature
Coming into this class I wasn’t expecting to really go in depth with literature such as

graphic novels, poetry, and plays. This year I really learned much but not enough to really

summarize the whole semester. I really think english is one of the hardest classes anyone can

take because literature is more than just letters its understanding what those letters mean. I

learned how to argue literature based on what other people think about whatever the topic is.

Looking into the characters and how they’re roles affect the story. I was able to understand

how easy it is to create debates or arguments based on the characters challenges, problems or

dilemmas with life today.

Literature is literally everywhere so I couldn’t really escape reading and writing any time

soon. In class I remember us going really deep into claims and how there important when

backing up our thesis. If our claim wasn’t defended then what was the point of the argument.

That was the sum up of the whole day. How reading the text multiple times can help you find

clues to help you support your argument. Not just twice but ten times. Even looking at an image

could help me find supporting evidence.

Honestly, this is about how much I took this year in class. I also remember a lot about

theories and how they are similar to literature. The two theories I remember is queer and

psychoanalysis.
