Review Comments on SBI NAME BOARD DESIGN AT ALUVA STATION

General Comments

1. Design calculation for all connection to be submitted.(STAAD output not needed)

a. Submitted calculation is incomplete.
b. Connection design should include base plate and anchor bolt design and check.
2. Design for pedestal foundation and calculation of anchorage to existing slab to be
submitted.
3. Existing beam and slab sufficiency check to be submitted.
4. Layout showing location of board should be submitted.
5. Surface preparations on existing slab should be shown in drawing notes.
6. Grades of steel and concrete to be shown in drawing.

STAAD File comments

1. Live load should be considered for analysis.

2. Weights of the name boards should be considered.
3. Load combinations given is not complete, all combinations including live and wind load
should be considered.
4. All load calculations considered to be shown in the design report.( Manual calculation)
5. The model shown in STAAD is not matching with the drawing, the cross bracing is missing in
the drawing.
