Kind Attn. Mr.Atul Saini

Sub: Supply, Erection, installation and commissioning of HVAC System for the works of Balance work for
construction of New Terminal Building at Khajurao airport-Reg.

Adverting t o the above subject HVAC System, we had made a thorough and comprehensive exercise on
the present status of work and observed many pending issues are remain unresolved and continued
prolongation of various issues. Your site Engineer and Design Engineers are quite cognizant of all
happenings and problems at site and it i s only requires a fair application of mind t o resolve the simple
straight issues of obvious under site conditions t o mention insulation and pipe leveling of the HVAC pipe
line around the building pending more than one year resulting we could not take up the all other related
civil works because of non filling of the trench. We are upset at the continued duress by the AAI in
resorting t o imposing of penalties.

We reaffirm that the delayed supplies and installation has a dampening and discouraging effect on the
overall contract performance and financial resource management.

Despite spate of correspondence and personal interaction with BSL officials from time to time the
following are the pending issues:

1. Electrical Panel: Please refer MOM held between AAI, Avantika-GHRA (JV) and BSL on
27/09/2011, the AAI comments are t o be incorporated in shop drawings, till now BSL could not
submitted revised SLD for approval. This is enduring since 27.09.2010.
2. Cooling Tower: BSL submitted revised details on the Cooling tower; AAI commented on
27/12/2011 the same, till now no reply received from BSL. This is also enduring since 26.10.2010
3. P & ID: Cleared, as per Quantity variation detailed revised drawing t o be submitted by BSL.
4. Quantity & Price Variation Statement: Approval awaiting from AAI.
5. First Floor duct supporting arrangement: BSL submitted proposed ducting details to AAI,
approval awaiting from AAI. Requires monitoring from BSL in addition t o constant monitoring by
Avantika-GHRA (JV)
6. AHU room layout: Shop drawing submitted by BSL, approval awaiting from AAI.
7. Ducting layout: BSL submitted the Layout drawing on 07/10/2011. As per site conditions_itis
not possible t o execute at site. This issue was communicated to BSL, revised ducting layout is
awaiting from BSL, as the same thing is repeating several times, we expect the person who
 prepare the ducting layout shall be present a t site and understand the hindrances, so as to
resolve the issue immediately.
8. Pipe support from floor: BSL has to check for feasibility of the floor support at site.
9. Expansion Tank: Detailed drawing indicating tank location & structural support details in AHU 6
was not submitted.
10. Ducting material sample not yet submitted for approval
11. Tapping into AHU rooms are completed and Pressure test also completed on 29/11/2011.

As committed by us we have completed 6 AHU rooms in 20 days after the meeting on 27/09/11. Still
AHU shifting and clearance for duct opening i s pending from BSL.

* There seems t o be no determined efforts on the part of the BSL to appreciate our concern in abnormal
delay in executing the system.

Concluding, we request make necessary arrangement to augment the progress of work by mobilizing the
men, materials and experienced Engineer for smooth performance of the system.
