Materials Needed for this Project:

• Size F/6 or 3.75mm Crochet Hook

• Size E/5 or 3.50mm Crochet Hook (for tail)
• Yarn Needle
• Stitch Marker
• Scissors
• Polyester Fiberfill
• Stuffing Tool
• Red Heart Super Saver Solids yarn—1 skein for each color
o White for head/body, legs, and tail
o Baby Pink for ears and nose
o Black for eyes

Abbreviations:

Blo – Back Loops Only

Ch – Chain
Lp(s) – Loop(s)
Sc – Single Crochet
Sc2tog – Single Crochet 2 stitches together (decrease)
Sl st – Slip Stitch
St(s) – Stitch(es)

Head/Body

Round 1: With White yarn, make a magic circle. Do 6sc in the magic circle. Pull on the
yarn end to close up the hole. (6)

Round 2: Sc around. (6)

Round 3: 2sc, sc in the next st (repeat this pattern around). (9)

Round 4: Sc around. (9)

Round 5: 2sc, sc in the next 2 sts (repeat this pattern around). (12)

Round 6: 2sc, sc in the next 3 sts (repeat this pattern around). (15)

Rounds 7-8: Sc around. (15)

Round 9: Sc2tog, sc in the next 3 sts (repeat this pattern around). (12)

Begin stuffing the head/body with fiberfill as you go.

Round 10: (In Blo) 2sc, sc in the next st (repeat this pattern around). (18)

Rounds 11-16: In both lps, sc around. (18)

Round 17: Sc2tog, sc in the next st (repeat this pattern around). (12)

Round 18: *Sc2tog* six times. (6)

Sl st in the beginning st. Fasten off. Sew the hole closed.

Ears (make 2)

Round 1: With White yarn, make a magic circle. Do 8sc in the magic circle. Pull on the
yarn end to close up the hole. Join. (8)

Fasten off, leaving an end tail for sewing. Weave in the beginning tail.

Inner Ears (make 2)

With Baby Pink yarn, ch 2.

Round 1: Do 4sc in the 2nd ch from the hook. Do not join. (4)

Fasten off, leaving an end tail for sewing. Weave in the beginning tail.

Sew the inner ears to the main part of ears. Then, sew ears onto the head (between
Rounds 7-8; about 2 sts apart).

NOTE: When finished, use Baby Pink yarn to embroider a nose at Round 1 of the head
(embroider about four times). Then, use Black yarn to embroider the eyes (between
Rounds 4-5; about 1-2 sts apart).

Front Legs (make 2)

With White yarn, ch 2.

Round 1: Do 4sc in the 2nd ch from the hook. (4)

Rounds 2-3: Sc around. Do not stuff. (4)

Sl st in the beginning st. Fasten off, leaving an end tail for sewing.

Flatten and sew closed. Then, sew the last 2 rounds of front legs onto the bottom of body
(between Rounds 10-12; about 1 st apart).

Back Legs (make 2)

With White yarn, ch 2.

Round 1: Do 4sc in the 2nd ch from the hook. (4)

Rounds 2-4: Sc around. Do not stuff. (4)

Sl st in the beginning st. Fasten off, leaving an end tail for sewing.

Flatten and sew closed. Then, sew the last 2 rounds of back legs onto the bottom of body
(between Rounds 15-17; about 1 st apart).

Tail (use E/5 or 3.50mm hook)

Slip your crochet hook into the back end of the body. Make a slip knot using White yarn.
Pull the hook and yarn through. Ch 11.

Row 1: Sl st across in the last 10 ch from the hook. Then, sl st into the back end again.

Fasten off, weaving in the ends.
