Materials & Tools
• 2mm crochet hook
• Sport weight yarn in any color- I used less than a 125m/50g
ball of each color
• Craft glue for attaching the ring parts
• Sewing needle
• Stitch marker

The finished project will measure 4cm tall by 2.5cm wide. I used
Schachenmayr Catania sport yarn in the following colors for my
rings.

Stitches & Abbreviations

MR Magic Ring
Sc Single crochet
INC Single crochet increase
DEC Single crochet decrease
Slst Slip stitch

Ring Band
rnd 1 6 MR (6)
rnd 2-24* 6 Sc (6) (23 rounds)

*Add as many rounds as needed to fit your finger.

Cut yarn and leave a long tail for sewing.

Stone Base
rnd 1 12 MR (12)
rnd 2 12 Sc, Slst (12)

Cut yarn and fasten off invisibly.

Gemstone
rnd 1 6 MR (6)
rnd 2 6 INC (12)
rnd 3-4 12 Sc (12) (2 rounds)
rnd 5 6 DEC (6)

Cut yarn and weave in yarn end to hide final stitches.

Assembly
Fold the ring band into a circle and sew the ends together using
the yarn tail.

Sew or glue the stone base to the top of the ring band. Place the
gemstone into the stone base and glue the stone to secure.

Your ring is complete!
