Instructions for Formatting Your Text

Before handing in your project, use this sheet as a checklist to make sure everything has been
done!

o Make sure you are using an easily legible font size 12.
o You may want to choose 1.5 or even 1.15 line spacing depending on what you like.

Under the top tabs, choose Layout and then Orientation to Landscape
o Click on Margins and change to Narrow
o Click on Columns and change to Two

o Make sure to print single sided (not double sided).

Book Jacket Instructions

o Front Inside Flap: plot summary – no spoilers, please!

o Front Cover: does it have some sort of illustration, title and your name as author?
o Spine: title and author
o Back Cover: 3 meaningful reviews
o Back Inside Flap: your amazing bio as an author

Don’t forget to be creative with your book jacket! Presentation matters!
