“My Guardian Angel Last Task”

What if you had a sudden accident and you became blind are you going to give up your dreams?

Arkray is an ill luck ballerina that does not know what love is because she does not trust people and has
a huge ego. She is a Montefalco heiress that everyone envies but she became blind because of a sudden
accident.

Hiro is a trouble maker angel. To be able to return to Heaven, he needs to be the cupid of the cold
woman Arkray.

On stage, in front of a beautiful backdrop, a group of ballet dancers perform the final scene of Swan
Lake. The prima ballerina portraying the female lead gives it her all, moving with elegance and passion.
However, this whole scene is a dream. The ballerina is Arkray and she whimpers in her sleep, warning
her dream self to get away. But her dream self goes on with the show, alongside the dancer portraying
the male lead. That’s when a stage light from above shatters. The broken glass rain down on the wide-
eyed Arkray, and then blood splattered on her clothes. Arkray wakes up gasping, annoyed at the dream.

She heads over to the bathroom but trips over a stepping stool and falls to the ground. Realizing what’s
happened, she screams at the top of her lungs, scaring all the staff on her mansion. Arkray gathers up
the maids and order them to wear blindfold and strip over the stool, until one of them finally admits
that they left it out.

Her driver and at the same time her secretary which is Mr. John, comes in asking what’s going on, but
Arkray isn’t finished. She stands up, black cane in hand, and coldly tells the maid that she’s fired.

Later, Arkray and Mr. John joined by the chief of staff, Ms. Chulsi, there to deliver the mail. Ms. Chulsi
panics when she sees an invitation from the Montefalco Cultural Foundation, but Arkray gets a hold of
it. Reading in braille, she learns that the foundation is holding an 18 th anniversary party and the fact that
it takes place tomorrow seems to bother her.

Arkray starts leaving the house with her guide dog, when Mr. John gets a call from the hospital. Arkray
snatches the phone away and eagerly asks about her cornea donation. Her face falls when she hears
that they won’t be able to do the procedure because her supposed to be donor backed out. Frustrated,
she tells the doctor to take her off the waitlist. Mr. John and Ms. Chulsi sigh as they watch Arkray walk
away.

*FLASH BACK*

After Arkray’s accident occurred and she was still adjusting to her blindness, she’d fallen into a pit of
depression and she forbade everyone from mentioning ballet or Montefalco ever again.

*end of flash back*

At the rooftop of a tall building, Angel Hiro is standing there, enjoying the view. “Goodbye, world” he
says, looking calm and peaceful. “Even if I’m not here, you should always be beautiful, okay?” He says
while his arms spread out, before falling forward. He falls down, down, down until he spread his wings
and flies of into the city. He’s off into one of his missions, as inscribed on a leaf, to stop a truck driver
from getting away with stolen dogs. He messes with the driver who can’t see him, scaring the driver
while he is driving and then the driver crashed the car into a tree. The dogs all scape, except for one still
in its cage and badly hurt. Hiro holds his hand over the dog and wishes it peace and sending it to heaven.

Hiro then teleports to a park to await his next mission. “Since it’s my last day,” he says up to the sky,
“please assign something good!” then Hiro hears the sound of a dog barking, followed by two bikers
crashing into someone who is Arkray. The two bikers give Arkray a hard time, cursing that blind people
should stay at home. One of them grabs her arm, and Hiro starts to walk toward them, but it looks like
Arkray doesn’t need the help. She hold her black cane tightly and warns them to back off. The boys
continue grabbing at her, so she smacks them with her cane and uses her graceful dance moves to kick
them down. She then sticks the cane in their faces and states that they’re lower than her dog for
showing a lack of respect to someone. The boys run off, making Hiro shake his head.

Since Arkray’s dog run off, she heads out without him, unaware that she’s not completely alone. Hiro
follows her all the ways to a bridge, where she finally let’s herself cry. Hiro sadly notes that she died
here before.

*FLASH BACK*

Arkray had gone up on the railing of the bridge and danced along it, to the horror of a gathered crowd.
She tried to assure herself that she could dance with her eyes closed, but one misstep made her
question everything. She looked up at the sky, her voice detached as she told her parents that she
couldn’t see. With one final jump, she was in the water, thinking “They say a ballerina dies twice. The
first time is when we give up dancing. The second is when we stop breathing. When I stopped dancing,
darkness was all around me. Is there a point in waiting to die a second time? Instead, I wished to die two
deaths at once.”

*end of flash back*

Seeing Arkray’s heartache, Hiro approaches her, close enough to have their lips touch. That gesture
somehow makes her aware of his presence, and she hears him when he says that humans only die once.
Arkray’s dog comes running back, just as it starts to rain. She rests on a park bench, Hiro is right beside
her, and silently listens until the pouring stops. Hiro notices a leaf, his final mission, appear on a tree
branch and reaches up, startling Arkray. Hiro is shocked when Arkray can still sense him, because she
asks who’s sitting next to her. When Hiro doesn’t answer, she flashes her cane and makes him shout
because of shock. He realizes that she can actually hear him and freaks out. She tells him to leave her
and he stubbornly answers that he doesn’t want to. He claims that the bench belongs to God, not her.

However, Arkray doesn’t want to hear anything about God. She prayed so hard when her father died
and when she lost her eyesight, but He never listened. Hiro sighs that she sure reacts to trauma
strangely, even dancing off a bridge. Her eyes widen, and she grabs his jacket, asking how he knows
that. At that point, Ms. Chulsi appears and calls out to her, Giving Hiro his chance to run. Arkrays orders
Ms. Chulsi to catch him, but there’s no one there. A confused Arkray feels all around the bench, only to
grab at nothing. All she finds is a handkerchief with a feather on it.

At Montefalco, Mr. John meets with Wyna, Arkray’s aunt and Montefalco’s current art director. Mr.
John told her that it’s cruel to have the foundation’s party on the anniversary of Arkray’s parents’
deaths. He also finds it odd that Arkray’s cornea donors always end up cancelling. It keeps Wyna in her
job position. Whatever’s going on, Mr. John plans to have a thorough police investigation, much to
Wyna’s discomfort. After what Mr. John said, Wyna has a secret meeting with Arkray’s doctor. The
doctor insists that he can’t lie anymore, but Wyna tells him that he’s in too deep now.

That night, Hiro waves his arms by a street, getting zero responses. He’s still invisible to other people, so
he wonders why Arkray was so responsive. Suddenly, a car screeches, having run over a cat. Hiro looks
on disapprovingly as the drivers suddenly switch seats and drive off. Inside the car is Roda and Jane,
Director Wyna’s daughters. Roda is crying, feeling awful for hitting the cat, but Jane tells her to forget it.
She continues that tragedy happens sometimes and that they deal with it later. Right now, she wants
Roda to focus on her big performance tomorrow.

Hiro’s senior angel Kreanon lectures him for being a happy-go-lucky down on Earth. Hiro starts to ask if
humans can see them, making Kreanon turn to him. “If you lay a finger on a human,” Kreanon warns,
“You’ll disappear like smoke and dust.” So Hiro will have to be careful for the next 24 hours if he wants
to leave Earth.
Hiro is positive that he’ll be fine, but then he notices that his handkerchief is missing. He was given this
handkerchief when he was appointed as a dispatched angel and it’s a must that he keep it with him at all
times.

Arkray wakes up to a leg cramp, so Mr. John comes in to cold compress it. He sees that she must’ve had
a nightmare and sweetly says that he’s always on her side. But she wishes he’d drop acting as if he
knows everything. Mr. John thinks back to her younger years, when she’d be so excited to show him a
dance trophy. He tells her now that he wishes she’d shine bright like she used to just like an angel.
Arkray pulls the covers on her head, giving Mr. John his cue to leave. From the window, Hiro mutters
that she’s awfully rude. He waits until it looks like she’s asleep and then sneaks over to retrieve his
handkerchief. The problem is, Arkray got a tight hold on it and Hiro can’t bring himself to grab it. He
leaves pouting.

The next day, Arkray surprises the whole staff by dressing up for Montefalco’s party. Mr. John drives her
over, with than pouting on the back seat and whining about his handkerchief. They arrive at Montefalco,
where director Wyna and her husband Rod, greet Arkray with insincere warmness. Mr. John offered his
hand to Arkray and he guides Arkray inside. People immediately start grasping and whispering at the
sight of her, so she excused herself and went to the bathroom alone. But even there, she hears some of
the dancers gossiping, wondering why Arkray would come when she can’t even see the performance.

The performance of “Swan Lake” lead by Roda begins but Arkray’s seat remains empty. She’s in an
empty hallway, doing the same routine by memory. The two ballerinas dance gracefully, but at the end
of the routine, it’s Roda who gets the big applause. Arkray drops her arms, and a tear falls down on her
face.

On the other side, Mr. John went to the parking lot, looking for Arkray and he passes a guy that looks
suspicious. Luckily, Mr. John finds Arkray in time to make her speech at the after party. Everyone
welcomes her with applause, interested to see what the ex-chairman’s daughter will say.

Arkray starts off by saying that today is not only the anniversary of Montefalco but also of her parent’s
deaths. “I’d given a lot of thought on how to celebrate,” she says coldly. “I considered showing up as a
corpse by hanging myself in the bathroom. To be dramatic.” Now that the crowd is uncomfortable, she
continues that she knows everyone pity her. She reminds them that Roda was nothing but a shadow of
her. Now look at her, with me gone, Roda was able to make a successful debut. She hopes that everyone
remembers this “charming” story of Montefalco’s. Arkray raise her hand with a glass of wine and downs
her drink.

Afterwards, Director Wyna confronts Arkray, demanding to know what she has against them. “You
smiled back then,” Arkray said, Catching Wyna off guard.

*FLASH BACK*

Arkray in the hospital, her eyes wrapped in gauze. Wyna had burst in crying, but when she went in for a
hug, Arkray felt her aunt smile against her shoulder.

*end of flash back*

Wyna calls her crazy but Arkray just smirked. Mr. John has to take Arkray away before things get too
heated. They head back to the car, and Arkray turns back one last time, towards the steps. Hiro sits
there, beside a bouquet of flowers, smiling down at her. He thinks back to Arkray daning in the hallway.
He retrieved his handkerchief but stayed to watch her, clapping at the very end.

Arkray and Mr. John takes off, with Mr. Jo saying that he’ll make sure she gets back to her rightful place.
She yells at him to stop saying things like that, making him stop the car. He yells right back, telling her
that it’s time she pull herself together. She doesn’t want to listen to him, and said that she should stop
acting like her father. With that, Mr. John continue driving silently.

At night falls, Mr. John reaches a curve in the road and realizes that the brakes aren’t working. He
panics, remembering the man in the parking lot and yells at Arkray to hold on tight. He tries his best to
regain control of the car, but they’re going way too fast. The car flips in the air and lands on a bridge,
making Mr. John unconscious.

Nearby, Hiro is about to teleport to escape the sudden rain, when he hears Arkray’s voice. He reaches
the car which is now hanging over the edge of the bridge, and finds Arkray weakly calling for help. He
sighs, figuring this is it for her, and sets his bouquet of flowers down. “Rest in peace,” he says before
turning away. “Who is that?” Arkray words stops Hiro.

He turns back as she starts crying and begging for him to help. He covers his ears, unable to believe this
is happening, but her voice sounds so clear. In the distance, the heavenly bells ring, so he tries to
convince himself to ignore her. But then he hears her thoughts. “I want to live. I’ve wanted to die every
day, but I want to live now.” He grasps his head, a flash of memories taking over. A young girl in the rain,
and a young boy falling into water. At that moment, the boy’s thoughts were the same as Arkray’s.

Hiro is still holding his head when the car finally slides over the edge of the bridge, sending Arkray and
Mr. John fall down with great speed toward the water. At the last second, time stops, and the car floats
in the air. Hiro, in all his winged glory, comes flying down to reach them, he thought that if angels could
have regrets, he would regret that day. He places the car back on the road, and the doors to the angel
headquarters close. He missed his curfew. Hiro approaches the unconscious Arkray and wipes the tears
from her face. But then he realized what he just done and freaks out. Next he knows, he’s already in the
headquarters which is the church. He desperately tries to get the doors open, but he can’t. Behind him,
his senior angel Kreanon says that he’s too late. “I warned you.” Kreanon scolds him.

Kreanon reveals that he’s giving Hiro the last of his last chances. He must turn into a human and
complete a special mission. Hiro thanks his senior and the heavens up above, but Kreanon warns him
that he only has 100 days, so he better not screw it up. Hiro swears that he’ll do everything to walk
through heaven’s doors. “Now what’s this last mission?” he asks. Kreanon’s smile grows bigger, and he
replies “Love.”

Hiro heads over to the park he catches a falling leaf to read the location for his mission.

At the hospital, Arkray getting the bandages removed from her eyes. Her aunt, uncle and cousins are all
there to see her. She blinks away from the bright light outside, and her cousin Roda happily says that the
sunset must be the world’s ways of celebrating her new eyes. Arkray is more condused, until last night’s
events all come flooding back to her. She then notices everyone’s attire and the fact that Mr. John is
missing. Arkray becomes hysterical, screaming for Mr. John, so the rest of the family left the room.

Later, Arkray walks down the hall, needing to lean against the wall since her vision is still blurry. She
refuses to believe that Mr. John is dead until she sees for herself. At the same time, Hiro reaches the
hospital, looking for room 502. He stops short when he sees Arkray, and she simply walks past, unable to
recognize him. Hiro follows Arkray all the way to the wake, where Arkray overhears a group of girls
gossiping about how Arkray and her father treated Mr. John like a slave. And in the end, they say, Mr.
John donated his corneas to her. They start wondering if the accident was intentional, when they finally
notice Arkray. She goes inside, garnering everyone’s attention, and finds Ms. Chulsi in front of Mr. John’s
altar. While standing infront of the altar of Mr. John, she remembers Mr. John’s wishes to see her shine
again, and she slowly grins, making the room think she’s crazy. But past the smile, there is deep pain in
her eyes.

Hiro is surprised when he overhears a nurse saying that room 502’s Arkray’s whereabouts. Re-checking
the leaf, he says “It’s Arkray?”

*after a week of mourning*

Arkray and Ms. Chulsi hold interviews for Mr. John’s replacement. Arkray dismisses every single person
for little things like breathing too loud or having bad breath. Ms. Chulsi is about to give up when one last
interviewee comes which is Hiro. Arkray notices the handkerchief in Hiro’s pocket but says nothing.
After the interview, Hiro promises to make Arkray shine if they hire him, hearing the term “shine,” just
as Mr. John’s said, Arkray orders Hiro to leave. Hiro tries to explain that he can’t since he have no home
to stay to, but she says that that’s not her problem. Hiro gets up and mutters to himself that she’s as
cranky as ever. “Try to be nice, huh? While shinning bright. Be nice!” he said then marches out of there.
Arkray’s provoked and starts to walk after him, making Ms. Chulsi gasp. She points out that Arkray just
walked on her own again.

*FLASH BACK*

Arkray is seen by a physician, who explains that she’s likely going through psychological trauma. She lost
someone very important to her, so doing the things she once did with that person may trigger her. “so
my heart is the problem?” Arkray asks. She can’t believe it. She did everything with Mr. John’s help
including walk and eat, and now she’s incapable of all that? And just when she got her sight back, too.

*end of flash back*

And just like that, Hiro got the job. He’s moved in and given a mountain of Arkray’s instructions. It’s a bit
intimidating, but Hiro’s just glad he worked his way in.

Now that Hiro has eased his way into Arkray’s life, he’s finally able to get to know the real her. There’s
still so much he doesn’t understand, but as they spend more and more time together, he finds that
there’s something about her that makes him want to be hopeful.

Many days had passed and Hiro and Arkray got too closed to each other that they had to see one’s
weaknesses and strengths, they understand each other and found there self-smiling and happy with
each other’s presence.

The clock is ticking on Hiro’s important mission, but with each day on Earth, he finds himself becoming
more distracted. Now that Arkray has warmed up to him, he genuinely enjoys staying by her side so
much that he’s beginning to wonder if being her guardian angel is enough anymore.

Arkray’s off to bed smiling at the thought of Hiro, while in Hiro’s room, he’s dreaming of his younger self
meeting Arkray. She’d seen him standing on top of a cliff and saved him before he went over. She later
introduced herself as Arkray, but before he could say his own name, Hiro wakes up.

Hiro immediately runs over to the church and asks Kreanon what his dream could mean. Could it be that
it is just his feelings as he longs to become a human? Kreanon’s expression darkens, and he orders Hiro
to follow him. Now daylight, Kreanon takes him to the nursing home, to see the old married couple. The
grandpa shakes with fear the moment he sees Kreanon. The couple run off to a field, but kreanon
catches them and tells the grandpa referring to an old angel who fell in love to a human and decided to
turn his back to God and became human, that he must face his punishment for refusing to send his wife
to heaven. Hiro looks shocked as the defeated old angel asks for one last goodbye with his wife. Kreanon
nods, and the couple then cling on to each other, the grandma crying for her love not to go. “I was with
you for a long time,” the old angel says, crying. “I’m so glad I met you. I won’t forget you, my love.”
Kreanon steps toward them and makes the old angel disappear from the grandmas’s arms. Kreanon
gives Hiro one last warning to wake up before teleporting out of there.

At montefalco, Arkray announced to the public that she will be back and she will play the role of the lead
female in the play Giselle. The news spread fast and some got excited for her comeback and some was
sad because the prima ballerina is going to be back.

When Jane heard the news, she got angry because she just want her sister Roda to be the Female lead.
So she carrying out her mom’s orders by bribing the dancers to protest for the comeback of Arkray.

On the other side, Hiro regained his memory when he was still a human. At the age of 12, she met
Arkray when he was about to jump on the cliff because she is the one who saved him. They became
friends when they are young. Hiro is the first audience of Arkray in dancing the rainbow dance. She is
the one who always comforts him when he is always beaten by his dad every time he is drunk. But then,
a month of spring came and she has to say goodbye to him because her parents will take her to Russia
to study. After 1 day of her being not there, he was beaten again by his dad and that time his dad was
truly furious and he wants to kill him, while running and hiding to his dad, he accidentally slipped into
the edge of the cliff and because it is raining that time his hands got slipped on holding on so he fell
down to the sea and got drowned.

Upon remembering his bad days as a human he shout and asks God, why does he have to remember his
painful memories as a human?

Hiro then goes directly to Arkray and he tell her that he is an angel. That she is his last mission. He then
leads her to an open fountain, with a beautiful rainbow overhead. Dan takes out the box she’d given him
when they were kids. When she opens it, she asks why he has Kristian’s things. “It’s me,” he lets out. He
admits that he’s the boy she met on the island when they were young, and that his memories slowly
came back to him after they reunited. She stares at him as this sinks in, and he continues that he
promised her as a kid that he would grow up and protect her.

“I think I was sent to you to keep that promise,” he says. “By that terrible God that you despised.” “I also
have to admit that I have feelings for you. You don’t have to –“Arkray cut him off and said, “Please let
me talk first because honestly speaking, I’m really so shocked and loss of words right now but please
allow me to say that the feeling is mutual.” Hero was shocked upon hearing what she said then he ask
her if they are already together now, then she answered yes.

The next day, an envelope comes to Arkray, full of documentary evidence and her doctor’s written
confession. With everything in hand, Arkray and Ms. Chulsi are now able to go to the police and execute
the rest of their plans. Meanwhile, Arkray go to the house of her aunt. She gathers Roda and her parents
to the living room to read the letter from her doctor. She reads the doctor’s confession of taking part in
obstructing with her cornea donation all under her aunt’s order. Roda starts to cry, making her mother
shake with anger and insist that Arkray is lying. To that, Arkray takes out the Doctor’s tape recorder and
plays the conversation he had with Wyna about bribes. Wyna cried out and tried to explain to her
daughter but Roda walks out from their house.

Arkray then decided to stop by a coffee shop then a girl with creepy looks approached her and grab her
hands then looks at her in the eyes while saying “Like dust, like powder, he’ll disappear. Because God’s
jealousy is great. He doesn’t want what’s his to be taken away. That angel will disappear because of your
love!” then the creepy girl walks out and left her dumbfounded. She then silently cried there upon
realizing what the creepy girl meant. On the other hand, Hiro write his report to God saying “This is my
confession. You told me to watch over a human, but I long for that human. You told me to look within
the human, but I keep looking within myself. From within, my soul speaks to me. I want to ask you for
the first time. Why am I not a human? Why am I here, and she is there? Can we be angels for each
other? No, if possible, I want to be human for her.” Hiro continues that he wants to be a human who can
hug warmly, who can lie that everything will be okay, and who can love with his life on the line. He’s
determined to find a way to become human without risking Arkray’s life. “Even if it means I must turn
my back on you,”

Hope is never a solid reassurance, as it can’t promise any guarantees, but it’s all our couple has. They
have to hope that they can avoid any paths leading to tragedy and somehow create their own happy
ending. And if they come to find out that a happy ending just isn’t meant for them, then they’ll have to
devise a compromise.

Hiro asks Arkray to marry him. She hugs him and tell him that she will marry him. Later, as they
discussed the date of their wedding, “arkray,” Hiro says, while there’s a tears in his eyes. “You’re my
first. When I was a human, when I was an angel, and now, there’s only you.” Again, she asks her to
marry him, promising to make her happy.

At the police station, Director Wyna asks her husband why he would turn himself in when he wasn’t
involved with anything. Even so, he blames himself for sitting back and watching their daughter Jane
stoop so low. Despite her wife’s protest, her husband states that it’s over for their family now.
As Jane is packing up her office, the lights go off. She isn’t alarmed, however, when she sees that her
intruder is Hiro. He’s there to deliver his last warning to stop her bad plans. She smirks and steps closer
to him, saying that she likes him, who are strong, and competent. “It’d be great to do something fun
together,” she says, caressing his face. He grabs her hand and tells her to forget whatever she plans to
do to Arkray, because he’ll save her every time. She tells him that he’s already lost this fight, since he
should’ve killed her long before. He explains that he’d wanted to give her another chance, thinking that
all humans had to feel some kind of regret. But now, if she doesn’t stop, he might really kill her. Then he
leaves.

On the other side, Arkray hurries over the church and asks Kreanon if it’s true. Either way, she says that
she would give up dancing, her eyesight, or even her life for Hiro. Kreanon shakes his head and reminds
her that she begged for her life the night of her car accident. Kreanon states that Hiro must be punished
for saving her. She can’t change his fate. There’s a trace of anger and despair to her face. She says that
she will change his fate and that she will save him.

Arkray calls Roda out to Montefalco to practice together, though Roda is still feeling too ashamed to
dance. Still, Arkray insists on her being the shadow of her in case something happens to her. Roda asks
what she means, and she replies that she’s just taking precautions. “ I want it to be you,” Arkray says.
That finally convinces Roda and she suits up so the two can go through the routine together.

Afterwards, Arkray went home and immediately hugs Hiro. He wishes he could watch her performance,
and she tells him that he can. They both know, however, that one of them won’t make it to that day.

The following day is the big wedding day. Kreanon appears and offers a cake. He said that Dan might as
well as go as far as he can. With a smile, Kreanon says his goodbyes.

Ms. Chulsi organized a beautiful setup in there garden, and that she’s the couple’s only guest as well as
the one officiating. Arkray and Hiro walking down the aisle arm-in-arm, smiling at each other the whole
time. Ms. Chulsi has them read their vows, and they recite them together. After reciting their vows
together, they sealed it with a kiss. They’re so lost in each other that they don’t notice the cards with
their vows burning away.

Next morning, Arkray wakes up to see that Hiro is getting ready to head out. She gets up to caress his
face, and he does the same, neither of them wanting to say goodbye. When he finally gets up and
leaves, she rushes to the window to get one last glimpse of him walking away. From where he is, Hiro
calls Jane’s minion and asks him to call her out.

Arkray gets ready to go out herself, her destination being the church. At the altar, she addresses God,
saying that He took her parents and Secretary Mr. John away from her, only to send her an angel. She’s
okay now, but she can’t let Him take Hiro, not when he already died tragically as Kristian. She repeatedly
cries that she loves Hiro, so if God has a conscience, He wouldn’t jut make him disappear. She then takes
out Hiro’s handkerchief and says that if God is all for give and take, then she has no choice.

Meanwhile, Hiro shows up to Jane’s meeting place which is an abandoned building and finds her
standing at the edge of the room. She’s surprised to see him instead of her minion, and he reminds her
that he wouldn’t stand for her evil deeds anymore. He closes the distance between them and he
grabbed her neck and choke her but then her minion came allowing Jane to escape. The two men get
into an intense fight, the minion manages to reach for his knife and stab Hiro in the side. Hiro pushes
through the pain to turn the knife on the other man but the snap of someone’s fingers sends them flying
away from each other. The minion boy is knocked unconscious, while Hiro is confused to see Kreanon
standing between them. Furious, Kreanon yells that angels who meddle with human lives will disappear.
Hiro just laughs and says that that he’s going to disappear anyway, so he’s going to protect Arkray pray.
He walks away, unable to see that the boy is awake and coming at him with the knife. Before the boy
can strike, Kreanon snaps his fingers, and the boy bumped his head at the wall and blood runs out after.
Kreanon sadly tells him to do what he does best and save Arkray. Smoke starts to swirl around him,
making Hiro scream for him not to go. With one last smile, Kreanon snaps his fingers and sends Hiro
away so he won’t have to see him disappear. Less than a second later, Kreanon is gone.
Meanwhile, Jane is in her car, thinking as she recalls the police taking her minion’s body away. She
comes to the conclusion that everything started going downhill when Hiro showed up, so he must be
taken care of. While thinking, she gets a call from Roda asking her to meet up. Jane heads over to the
meeting place, and her smile immediately drops when a teary-eyed Roda says that she’s sorry. Jane is
then surrounded by police officers, who arrest her for her various crimes. Back at their house, her mom
and dad helplessly watch as the police officers confiscate Jane’s belongings. Wyna hits her chest over
and over, crying that she lived the wrong way and that her greed ruined their daughter.

The next day, it is the day where they will perform the “Giselle” at Montefalco. Hiro accompanies Arkray
to Montefalco. While they’re preparing in the dressing room, they’re greeted by the sponsor Chairman.

After the last rehearsal, they gathered together for a prayer and that Arkray will be the one leading id.
She places her hand atop the others’ and admits that she once thought she was better that everyone
else. But she sees much clearly now, and she’s excited to share the stage with them and to dance giving
all their best.

Once the theater fills up, the lights dim and the show begins. Arkray and her partner act out their
characters’ first meeting, while Roda watches from the backstage. Roda then receives a call from the
police station that her sister escaped. Roda calls Hiro to inform him him and warn him that he is the one
Jane’s after. In return, she asks for Roda to keep it from Arkray so she can focus on performing.

By the time the dancers have to return to stage, Arkray is nowhere to be seen. With no time to waste,
the director of the dance tell Roda to take over. After Roda performing she returns backstage, only to
run into Arkray, who’s looking pale. Arkray thanks Roda for covering her and asks that she covers for
tomorrows show too. Roda looks on in confusion as Arkrays rushes to the stage to perform again.

Arkray dances with a lot more desperation in her steps, thinking to herself, “Please let me live.” and
back in the hall, while Hiro catching Jane. Jane suddenly stops saying that she won’t leave Arkray alone
as long as she’s alive. Shaking with anger, he picks up the knife and approaches her, only to drop it. He
says that he’d rather see her live and pay for her sins. The police show up and get her in handcuffs, but
she has more to say before she leaves. “It was supposed to be you.”

*FLASH BACK*

When the first part of the show was finished, Arkray went to the hall to look for Hiro but then Arkray
saw Jane. Arkray had seen Jane about to stab Hiro with the knife, so she grab Jane’s hand only to turns
out that the knife going into her abdomen.

*end of flash back*

Jane smiles at Hiro and tells him to enjoy her present.

Hiro runs to the stage, stopping by the curtain to see Arkray acting out the final scene of Giselle. The
side of her costume is now stained with blood, but she pushes through the pain. “I must finish this
dance,” she thinks. “This is it. This is how I can save you.” So she begs for God one last time. If her
performance was moving enough, she hopes that He will spare Hiro. After acting out the farewell scene
of the performance, she dances offstage, straight into Hiro’s arms. The audience erupts with applause,
but Hiro and Arkray only have eyes on each other. She reaches to touch his face and weakly says that
she’s happy that she got to see him one more time and that she was able to save him. With one last
breath, she says that she loves him and goes limp in his arms.

*FLASH BACK*

During the night before her performance, When Arkray was writing her report to God. As she recalled
her time with Hiro, She wrote that she never knew a moment could be their last until it passed by. She
never got to say goodbye properly, so she was hoping that her “Giselle” performance could be her
chance.”

*end of flash back*

Right offstage, Arkray gets the chance now, being in Hiro’s arms as she takes her last breath. Hiro
breaks down crying, begging her to wake up, but it’s no use.

She is taken to the hospital and rushed into surgery, with Hiro having to wait behind the operating room
doors. He tightly hold his handkerchief, which is now full of Arkray’s blood. He asks Ms. Chulsi to return
it to Arkray when she wakes up and to tell her that he’s sorry for not being able to be there. And for
parting ways without a proper goodbye. Ms. Chulsi tells him to tell her himself, insisting that it’s not
over for them yet. But it looks like it’s over. Hiro looks up at the clock and sees that it’s 11:59 p.m., one
minute away from his deadline.

Hiro drops his knees in front of the doors, and inside, the doctors struggle to get Arkray stable. They
shock her with the defibrillator paddles over and over until,

Hiro starts to fade away. Ms. Chulsi steps forward, concerned, but there’s nothing she can do. Hiro just
smiles, relieved to know that Arkray is still alive. He shuts his eyes and, still smiling, completely
disappears.

He’d been called to the angel’s crossroads. A scroll had floated down, delivering a message from God.

The message states: “Angel Hiro. You were given the mission to let the human named Arkray learned
what true love is. Love that can cover everything in risking your life and sacrificing yourself. You have
successfully completed your mission. But you committed the sin of loving a human as an angel.”
However, considering Kreanon’s Pleas and the fact that Hiro resisted the temptation of killing Jane, God
was willing to overlook the fine print. He gladly accepted Arkray’s last performance and forgave Hiro for
his sin, so granting him access to heaven.

Hiro narrates his last report, saying that once a mission is over, everything returns to its place. Humans
will disappear and die, while angels will be around forever. And this is the universe’s providence. Within
this providence, he says, “We will live happily with this miraculous love. Brilliantly and dangerously,
shining radiantly.”
