Objectives
The student will
➢ Exhibit proper sitting and playing technique
➢ Play a two hand, two octave G Major Scale
➢ Complete a harmonic analysis of the first 16 measures of “Minuet in G”
➢ Complete a form analysis of the first 16 measures of “Minuet in G”
➢ Play the first 16 measures of Minuet in G

Procedures
The student will
➢ Listen and watch while the teacher demonstrates
➢ Repeat the teacher’s demonstration when signaled to
➢ Continue to exhibit proper sitting and playing technique through the lesson
➢ Play a two hand, two octave G Major Scale; Quarter Note = 70
➢ Complete a harmonic analysis of the first 16 measures of “Minuet in G”
➢ Complete a form analysis of the first 16 measure of “Minuet in G”
➢ Play the first 16 measures of “Minuet in G”

Assessment
As the educators I will
➢ Demonstrate proper sitting and playing technique and continuously look for this
throughout the student’s lesson
➢ Assess the student’s ability to complete a form and harmonic analysis
➢ Assess the students ability to play Bach’s “Minuet in G”
