After performing the detailed industry and market analysis the study of the internal and external
factors is another major aspect. This portion explains the four major aspects that will focus on
the company’s internal strong and weak points and the external opportunities and threat keeping
in view the market place we choose to enter.

Why do we need SWOT ANALYSIS?

SWOT analysis is used to carry out the detailed internal and external analysis to carry out the
business while keeping in view the strong and all the weak points of the business, the
opportunities present in the market and the possible threats that can be faced by the company
before and after stepping in the market. The study helps to design the strategies that will better
suit the business structure and that can be used to resist in the market despite of the threats. The
major strengths are taken into account to highlight the strong areas and to use them as a strong
weapon to achieve competitive edge. The weaknesses are considered to improve the current
situation and all the possible opportunities are taken into account to avail them in the future. The

SWOT Analysis of Golf Course in Australia

The major strengths of the company are elaborated on the basis of the features that are planned to
introduce in the new business and the weaknesses are stated after examining the competitor’s
main strengths to stand in market place. (Crisis, 2016) The opportunities are carefully considered
to account for major growth points. Lastly the threats are major hurdles for the company to enter
and revive in the already growing market. Attracting and retaining of major population in this
field is also challenging. Threats of company are the major strengths of the direct competitors
and the rules and regulations imposed by the government of country in which we aim to operate
which is Australia.
To carry out the detailed analysis about the internal and external environment we have performed
a SWOT analysis that explains that the uniquely designed infrastructure can act as a competitive
edge for the new golf course. Because of the layout and design is considered as one of the
attractive factors for the customers. Furthermore the facilities that will be provided to the tourists
will be fine enough to act as a major strength. As the company is stepping in the market initially
it will be having limited funds that can act as one if the weaknesses. The policies and rules that
are framed by the government can pose serious hurdles for designing the internal operations and
the perceived costs can act as major weakness

The external factors include the opportunities which are seen in the form of growing tourism
market and the current stabilization in the economy. The major threats are the competitors that
have already established their names and the changing trends towards golf courses.

Strategies

For competing the international environment the four basic strategies that is global
standardization, localization, transnational and international strategy. But according to our
country product/service we were choose transnational strategy because of our target audience is
china’s middle class people.

Transnational strategy is differs the global strategy to promote and sell our product/service. It
should personalized approach to selling our product /service in the mind of the target audience.
In other words the transnational strategy is a combination of global standardization and
localization to cover out high responsive and position of the low cost. Transnational is basically
very difficult task due to clashing demands placed in the organization. It’s totally focused on
reducing the cost, transferring the products and valuable skills can develop of the firm worldwide
operations, into being local responsive.
