The smog pollution in North India has attained a crucial condition, and is possessed by the untreated
components from the exhaust collectively with the ozone and fume evaporation that come together
among sunlight and particulates (PM2.5). The yearly plans are made for the anticipation and control
of smog pollution which now come to a different phase lead by the values of preservation and
sustain ability, also get strengthen by demands from the public. This article is brief study of the
significant problems caused by smog pollution in some parts of North Indian region during last few
years especially in 2017 as well as a concise explanation of the control strategies. It also shower a
light upon the air quality index rose in Delhi and nearby area due to smog in last few months and
how research can fetch ways to recognize the trouble caused smog pollution in India.
Keywords: Smog, Air Pollution, North India.
