Dear Dr Ainol,

This is to inform you that I did not attend our public speaking class on
November 18, 2019 because of an important event. On the same week, I
will be the graduation of my brother in College and it is a once in a
lifetime event, that is why I cannot let it pass without attending his
graduation.

This is the only gift that I could give for his graduation, my presence. I
hope you will be kind enough to understand my situation. I will update
myself with the agenda of the missing information after I come back after
my brother’s graduation.
