b. The Company has two (2) units Diesel Generator sets, 50 KVA and 150 KVA
rated capacity as standby units during power outages. The two (2) units
gensets are provided by exhaust mufflers to separate chimneys with a height
of 9 meters and 10 meters respectively.
Wastewater in the wash bay and service area is generally coming from the
washing and cleaning of vehicles after delivery. For this reason, during the
washing process, oil is removed from the engine side of the new vehicle
together with accumulated dust during transit.
The wastewater produced goes to the two (2) chamber oil- water separator.
There is an average of six (6) to ten (10) vehicles washed per day with 200 to
400 liters of water used in washing and cleaning.
Every generation of 400 liters of water used, contains about 1.5% by volume of
mud and 0.10% oil contaminant by volume.
Therefore:

The OIL- WATER Separator has two (2) Chambers; The First chamber (the primary
settling) has a Capacity of 640 liters and the second chamber (secondary tank)
otherwise known as the effluent tank is the final treatment where the treated water
goes to street sewer.
