HUMANITY-DEAD OR ALIVE?

Did our hearts become immune to all the injustice happening in the
world we live in? Are there people in this world who care less for the
lives of others? When we come across news about crimes and killings
we get negative vibes but that isn’t the whole story. As the saying
goes , every coin has two sides, we can’t expect every person to be
equally good. There still are many generous people who make this
world survivable. There’s a tiny bit of humanity still prevailing
otherwise human race would had perished. The fair line that
separates us from animals is the sense of humanity.
There are incidents which reinforce our faith in humanity and
are proof of humaneness still exists in the world which is considered
deprived of morals and values. There are a few people who uphold
ethics more than riches. Many people , even strangers help us a lot
without expecting anything in return. They simply touch our heart in
a special way.I see humanity when people on streets rush to help a
person soaked in blood when his inhuman perpetrators run away. I
see people fighting in the name of religion and terrorism. But I
remember the soldiers losing their lives on the battlefield for the
people who are unknown to them. The uber driver waiting for an
hour to safeguard a female gives humanity a new meaning. Indian
stories which lie embedded in hymns of Rigveda or scattered in epics
like Panchtantra and a host of similar stories teach us humanity since
our childhood. “The sole meaning of life is to serve humanity “ for I
see a millions uplifting the people in need out of insanity.
Man is born with a pure soul. No soul is dead enough to be
cruel to extremity. I agree that people are selfish but humanity is still
breathing. No one can finish humanity until he finishes the entire
world.
