In this topology the devices which I used is as follow:

• 1 router.

• 4 switches

• 8 laptop

• Cable (straight through).

In this topology the router is connect with 4 switches. And each switch having two laptops connecting
with switches.

Devices with description:

Router:

I used the router of 2021XM in which I add the interface card of NM-2FE2W to get four fast cable ports
to connect the 4 switches. Also gave the IP address to every interface. I give ip addresses at

Fast 0/0 192.168.1.3

Fast 0/1 192.168.2.3

Fast 1/0 192.168.3.3

Fast 1/1 192.168.4.3

Switches:

I used the 4 switch of 2960-24TT and further each switch is connect with 2 laptop.
Laptops:

I used 8 laptops. The 2 laptops is connected with one switch.

In which I gave the IP address

192.168.1.1 to laptop 1

192.168.1.2 to laptop 2

192.168.2.1 to laptop 3

192.168.2.2 to laptop 4

192.168.3.1 to laptop 5

192.168.3.2 to laptop 6

192.168.4.1 to laptop 7

192.168.4.2 to laptop 8.
