 Concrete Sleepers Business
 Having commenced production in 1982, GPT was one of the
earliest entrants in concrete sleepers for Indian Railways
 Main works located at Panagarh, 160 km from Kolkata:
» Plant production capacity of 480,000 sleepers is one of the
largest in India
» At Panagarh unit, we manufacture concrete sleepers for
mainline, curves, bridges, level crossings, points & crossing
» GPT has manufactured more than 12 Million concrete
sleepers for Indian Railways, IRCON, RITES, SAIL, NTPC, Tata
Steel, DVC, etc.
 Second plant commissioned in 2009 to meet demand of non-
Railway buyers, i.e. power, steel & cement companies
