The Peace and Conflict Presentations

This assignment was locked Dec 13 at 11:59pm.

Each student will create a PowerPoint presentation based on their final paper topic of
choice.
The students must include the following key points in their presentation:
1. Clearly define and explain the purpose of your paper and why it is important
2. What agreement or treaty they examined.
3. The problems with the agreement or treaty
4. How you identify the problem(s)
5. The solutions and why you choose those solutions
6. Details about your solution like implementation, budget, etc
7. Any problems you encountered in your research
This list is NOT in order that your need to present the points. You are free to add
additional information you feel is important or helpful to your presentation.
Make sure your PowerPoint is well organized and try to limit grammatical
mistakes. Please test to make sure your font size and color is easy to read on
projector.
You will be graded on your grammar, pronunciation, organization and ability to answer
questions. Each presentation should be 8-10 minutes. You need to practice your
presentation to make sure it fits within that time frame. If your presentation is longer or
shorter, points will be deducted from your grade. Also at 10 minutes, I will stop your
presentation as we do not have the class time for your to continue. There is about 5
minutes of questions. You will be ONLY be graded on your ability to answer my
questions not on the questions your classmates ask. There is not limit on the number of
slides but a good presentation is about 1 minute per slide so for a 10 minute
presentation 10 slides it good. More or less slides it fine but keep this number in
mind.

Your PowerPoint presentation is due before your presentation. You MUST upload your
presentation BEFORE you give your presentation. If you have any questions, please
contact me.
