The Headless Lady

There was once a boy named Drake, he was cheerful everyday and he never is sad or angry in
his life. Well that was two years ago, before his whole family passed away. Nobody knew what
happened that night. The poor little boy was playing in his room when suddenly, there came a
loud CRASGFHGH in the room. Drake was pretty confused and scared, but he stayed in his
room. 30 min later he heard a whisper from the door. Drake went to open it, when he opened
the door, there was a pool of blood and a note saying,I WANT A HEAD! The boy was so
frightened he almost blackout. He stumbled back into his room and called for his mom, there
was no reply. The house was strangely empty, Drake doesn't know what to do so he crawled in
his bed and wept, soon he was asleep.

Drake was woken by a strange and sharp sound, he wasn’t sure what was happening.Was it his
imagination? Then out of the sudden, a high scream broke the silence. Drake sit up so fast he
bumped his head on the bed, he ran Downstairs to see what was happening. He expected his
mom doing kitchen work. But to his surprise, there wasn’t no one. But there was a trail of blood
led out of the house.

Now, little Drake have two choices. Either follow the blood trail or just stay where he is right now
and call for help. But Drake was worried that her mother was taken by something and he ought
to save her. So he followed the trail. It leads him into the woods behind his house. Minutes
passed, the night grew colder and the blood trail became more like a puddle. It seems like the
victim is bleeding a lot, Drake thought.

At last he arrived at the entrance of a cave, inside was dark and damp. But he went in anyways.
What he saw inside was so frightening that Drake couldn’t move for about 10 min. There were
bodies, hanging on the caves like bats. Except they were headless. The blood they dropped
could fill a whole olympic swimming pool. He checked the bodies, one of them caught his eye,
It was vaguely familiar. It was his mother, headless,motionless body peacefully hanging still.

That's when there was a sound THUMP behind him. He turned and found out there was still a
body that wasn’t hanged, it's a woman dressed in white. With a butcher knife in her right hand.
But to his surprise the woman has a man’s head. Drake was relieved to see an alive person, so
he went up to the person and ask him/her. What happened here, the person didn’t reply, instead
he showed him something he never wanted to see again. The head of the person/creature
slowly, slowly begin to slide across the neck. And then it simply fell off of the neck completely.
She is now headless. Drake was horrified of this monster, he remembered the note earlier
before. Was it the same creature? Is it gonna take my head? He thought. Just as he finished
thinking, the creature raised the knife and sliced down.

Now you probably think Drake is has dead has his mother, but nooo. He’s quite smart and fast.
He dodged the slice and run for the exit. He ran all the way down the mountain, pass his house
and run into his neighbour’s house.

His neighbour was wondering why the boy ran into his house without permission, so he asked
him where is his mother. The boy said his mother was murdered and hang by a weird old
looking woman. When the neighbour heard that. He immediately dialed the police. The police
arrived 10 mins later. They questioned the boy but the boy didn’t say a word.

Till this day Drake is still afraid of the Neckless Lady. He has nightmares about it and
sometimes, he swore he could see her headless shadow in the night.
