Where is he from: local village in Vietnam called My Lai, local villager
How did he get involved in the war: When American soldiers raided his village,he have a family
who have been killed by the Americans, he became a refugee at a camp near thailand

The Interview
Q=Question, A=Answer
Q.1:What do you feel about the war in general?

A.1: Well, I lived in a quiet village in Vietnam and I never expected to be in the middle of a war. I
just want to live a peaceful life, until one day the Americans spread “Agent Orange” on our
village just because they think there are soldiers in the village taking shelter! This causes
diseases no one can cure. I simply HATE the war the same as I hate the Americans who
destroyed my home.

Q.2: what were you feeling when your village is being under attacked? What happened?

A.2:Well so it all started when some funny people with guns a.k.a Americans have raided my
village and there was chaos all over the place and there was nowhere to go, I felt scared and I
have to flee to refugee camp.
Q.3:What happens after the Invasion?

A.3:Well I have to stay In the refugee camp until I am rescued. So That i stayed in the camp for
about 6 months.

Q.4:What did the American soldiers do?

A.4:Well as I said they burned down our village and spread Agent Orange on our village, killing
any suspicious people they see, even though they didn’t do anything, they also don’t spare the
women and children. Though the massacre stopped by three soldiers, we called them heroes
for stopping the massacre

Q.5: You look injured badly on the leg, what exactly happened?

A.5: Well while I was fleeing away from my village, there are gunshots all around us, did I forget
to mention that I fled with my two best friends? No? Ok so me and my two best buddies tries to
fled into the woods but suddenly there was a massive boom! A mine exploded when my friend
steps on it. I was a lucky one, but my friends all died from the explosion, I felt sorry for them, but
we can’t do anything because this is war,danger is everywhere.
Q.6: Do you know how many people were killed?

A.6: Well I don’t really know but half of the village is gone, about 500 people were killed and of
course a lot of people were injured, the damage was pretty bad and it will take a long time to
repair

Q.7:Will you be the same after this war?

A.7: No because the war have so much negative effect that I will never be the same again. I will
have different opinion about the war and the memories will haunt me forever, I just wish that
there is no more war in the future.

The Conclusion:
Would your participant support the Vietnam War? Explain your reasoning.
No of course not,because from my questions the war have a negative effect on vietnamese
people and the people who have seen my interview will think war is a dangerous event
happened in history and nobody will support the war.
