I. Asia Sustainibility Reporting Rating (ASRRAT)
The Asia Sustainability Reporting Rating was initiated by NCSR, an independent
organization to develop sustainability reporting in Indonesia, as part of acknowledgment and
appreciation to companies for their work in communicating corporate performance in economic,
social and environmental aspects. There are 3 categories of rating in Asia Sustainibility Reporting
Rating:
a. Platinum
b. Gold
c. Silver
There are seven company that win ASR in 2019:
1. PT. Agincourt Resources
2. PT. Antam Tbk.
3. PT. Indo Tambangraya Megah, Tbk.
4. PT. Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk.
5. PT. Pupuk Indonesia (Persero)
6. PT. Pupuk Kalimantan Timur
7. PT. Vale Indonesia Tbk.

II. PT. ANTAM Tbk.

ANTAM is a mining company which processes a number of minerals as well as operating
other businesses including trade and industry, transportation and other services related with the
mining sector. ANTAM operating segments are distinguished according to three core businesses
which comprised on nickel, gold and refinery, and bauxite and alumina. ANTAM also has others
segment and Head Office segment. ANTAM also has others and Head Office segments.
ANTAM undertakes all activities from exploration, excavation, processing throught to
marketing of mining commodity for more than 50 years. ANTAM has a solid commitment on
implementation of Good Mining Principle on each Company’s operational aspect. Human Capital
is one of the most valuable factors for Company’s future growth. ANTAM committing on
development of human capital competencies as a based of ANTAM’s sustainability effort.
Beyond the Company’s operational Segment, ANTAM committing to manage social,
economic and environmental impact, including management of community relations,
environmental regulations compliance, and the economic impact on society. ANTAM’s
commitment to ensure their products meet customer specifications and on-time deliveries have
resulted in ANTAM having several long-term business relationships with well-established
customers in both domestic and international market
ANTAM maintain financial strength by generating positive revenue growth to ensure
Company’s sustainability and bring positive value to Their shareholder and stakeholder. Having a
diversified business with prudent management and horizontal business development throught
integrated business from upstream to downstream activity.

III. Comparation between PT. ANTAM Tbk. and PT. Mandiri (Persero) Tbk.
These are the sustainable development of PT. Mandiri (Persero) Tbk.

PT. ANTAM Tbk. and PT. Mandiri (Persero) Tbk. are two companies that operating in
different field, mining and banking. I choose PT. Mandiri (Persero) Tbk. for comparing to PT.
ANTAM Tbk. to see the difference in which parts of the GRI Standards were impelemented
properly.
 My analysis stated that PT. Mandiri (Persero) Tbk. in implementing GRI 200 (Economic
Responsibility) between PT. ANTAM Tbk there is no significant differences. In my personal
opinion, this is because both companies runs in financial operations.
In applying GRI 300 (Environmental Responsibility), there are many differences in
implementing the standard between PT. Mandiri (Persero) Tbk. and PT. ANTAM Tbk. GRI 300
shows how the company accomplish the Environmental Responsibility. PT. ANTAM Tbk. is a
mining company, which means the company obliged to pay attention to all the standards (GRI
300) that have been set.
GRI 400 discusses about Social Responsibility. In this standard, there are significant
differences between those two companies. The differences found in the standard that regulates
work accidents. PT. ANTAM Tbk. implements standards that working accident matters, whereas
PT. Mandiri (Persero) Tbk. does not. That is because PT. Mandiri (Persero) Tbk. has less field
employees.
