Simple DIY Arduino Bluetooth Controlled Car
Abstract:
Smartphones are becoming the latest sensation in our country. It currently has by
far the biggest margins of any product in the tech sector. One of its important
functions is wireless communication which is usually done by a wireless
technology called Bluetooth. In this project our aim is to use that Bluetooth for
controlling a four-wheeler car. We are much successful in achieving our goal.
Our car runs well and it can be controlled by three modes. One, from any
Bluetooth activated computers. Second, from an android phone by touching
buttons and third by the android's default accelerometer. This is actually a
prototype which can be applied in our daily day to day jobs by adding some
extension to it like robotic arms. Through this project we are able to learn many
things which will be very helpful in our coming future.

Introduction:
As the Computer Science Students of ALHAMD ISLAMIC UNIVERSITY, this
project gives us a chance to knowledges and skills which we already gain along
the academic session in solving problems through a project in order to be an
efficient a good engineer or programmer.
By Bluetooth Controlled Car we mean the control of a car with a wireless
medium. Here we use Bluetooth of any Bluetooth activated devices around us.
We use both computer and mobile phone to run the vehicle which is made by us
mechanically.

Methodology:
In this project, the components which are used and the working of Project. All
the main components are discussed below.
The major mechanical parts of our project are as follows:
1. Wooden Board: The 9 x 5 inches of wooden board is used to build the
project.
2. Arduino Uno: The Arduino Uno Compatible Board is a microcontroller
board which is based on the ATmega328. Arduino Uno has 14 digital
input or output pins (where 6 can be used as PWM outputs), 6 analog
inputs, a 16 MHz ceramic resonator, a USB connection, a power jack, an
ICSP header, and a reset button. It has everything needed to support the
microcontroller, you need to simply connect it to a computer with a USB
cable or power it with an AC-to-DC adapter or battery to get started.

3. Motor Driver L298N: This motor controller from PMD Way is based
on the L298N heavy-duty dual H-bridge controller, which can be used to
drive two DC motors at up to 2A each, with a voltage between 5 and 35V
DC - or one stepper motor with ease. The controller has fast short-circuit
protection diodes, and a nice heatsink to keep the L298N happy

4. HC-05 Bluetooth Module: HC-05 Bluetooth Module is an easy to

use Bluetooth SPP (Serial Port Protocol) module, designed for
transparent wireless serial connection setup. Its communication is via
serial communication which makes an easy way to interface with
controller or PC.

TT Gear Motor: plastic gearbox motors (also known as 'TT' motors) are an
easy, low-cost way to get your projects moving. This is a TT DC
Gearbox Motor with a gear ratio of 1:48.

5. Wheels: The readymade wheels are used to run the electric car.

6. LI-ON Battery : The 18650 mah chargeable 2 batteries are used to run
the car and supply power to each components are used in the project.

Conclusion:
We have successfully run our project. It can be used in various fields to make our
life more swift
and easy. Some possible and future implementations can be named as bellow:

 In house hold for carrying various things like trays of food or in other
entertainment appliances like a MOVING SOUND SYSTEM!!!!
 In hospital or in other places we can implement it in wheelchair which can
help the patient to operate easily.
 In office for carrying large number of files from one place to another we
can use this kind of arrangement.
 In shopping mall, it can be used by the customer to carry their things from
one place to another by SMART TROLLY.
 Sometimes we face some situations where we cannot send any big things.
In that case too we can use it as a model savior kits.
 Most importantly it can be transformed into a very good toy for the new
generation kids who are now growing with a smartphone in his/her hand?
