The construction of goat house is requisite to provide shelter for goats which will
help in its optimum production efficiency. Knowledge is acquired during the process
which heightens the abilities of student accomplishing the task. The goat housing is
required for security to protect goats from unwanted predators (such as wild dogs,
wolfs and snakes), unpredictable weather conditions. This will also provide the
students an earlier guide on the cost of goat shed construction depends on many
factors like number of goats, space allocated for feed storage, and type of rearing like
zero grazing (stall feeding) or open field grazing (where they require only night
shelter).

The advantages of silage making would not only benefit the students’ potential,
but will also provide more information to help them as future extensionists.

IV. OUTPUTS:

The members of the group attained the requisite output. Each member had been
able to do their respective responsibilities during the activity.

V. GENERAL EVALUATION:

After the construction of housing, required outcome was met. The members
acquired new learning. The activity gave more concepts and ideas on how to make
goat house. It sustained them unprecedented skills that would further help them in the
near future.

VI. RECOMMENDATIONS:

It is highly recommended that those under the activity shall apply all the newly
gained knowledge from construction of housing. It is also recommended that the
members should be able to find alternatives in making cheaper yet quality housing to
be able to help goat raisers and inspire more people to engage in goat farming.
Further research is also recommended to avoid unsuccessful outcome.

VII. LEARNING INSIGHTS:

A. Members: The members have been satisfied by new ideas acquired throughout
the activity. It gave them more knowledge during participation.
