A good pre-flight briefing keeps the flight safe, as all instructions are clear and create good CRM.

8) Do you think pilots will fully be replaced with computers in the future?

I don't think so because computers can't make a quick decision during a flight emergency and can't
communicate with the ATC.

9) What are the effects on a flight if one of the pilots doesn't follow CRM?

If pilots do not follow CRM a disaster can happen. Because the flight instructions will not be clear and
errors may occur.

10) Why is it important to check the weather before a flight?

It is very important as bad weather can cause an accident. For example CBs, windshear, strong winds
during of take-off or landing and thunderstorms.

11) What are some good and bad aspects of being a pilot?

Good aspects are a good salary, good travels and working on what you like. The bad aspect is only stay

The best part of my training was the flight simulator, I learned a lot from aviation and phraseology.

14) Does a pilot need to maintain situational awareness all the time when flying? Why? Why not?

Yes, because of flight conditions, pilots should be aware of any situation and anticipate a possible
emergency.

15) What's the most difficult part of a pilot's career?

The biggest difficulty right now is getting a job opportunity. I hope that in the future this scenario will be
different.

16) What is your major concern about your profession?

In my opinion the biggest concern is losing the job, most pilots have only this job.

Because icao level 4 is now a basic requirement to get a job opportunity with airlines.

18) How do you think airspace will be managed in the future?

In my opinion in the future the airspace will have more radars and computers to assist pilots and flight
controllers.

19) What are the qualities of a good pilot?

The qualities of a good pilot are responsibility, good crm, situational awareness and following the
checklists.

20) What are some of the difficulties you may find when flying abroad?

I think the biggest difficulties are different regulations, different cultures, and long flight journeys.

21) What does a pilot need to do to improve their flying skills?

The pilot must always study, read the aircraft manual and train in the simulator.

22) Do you think it's important to have a University degree to become a pilot?

In my opinion it is not important, but it is currently a basic requirement to get a job in aviation.

23) How important are flying skills in times of automation?

In my opinion good skills help the pilot in case of urgency and emergency, in these cases the autopilot
does not help.

24) Why is it necessary to have two pilots in some aircraft?

In my opinion because of the workload, two pilots are important in every flight situation, especially
takeoff and landing.
25) In what ways can miscommunication jeopardize a flight?

It can affect the flight in many ways, for example an incorrect altitude can cause a midair collision, a
wrong runway can cause a runway incursion.

26) In an emergency, do you think pilots will behave exactly the same as they did in the simulator?

I think not totally, they should, but in the simulator they don't have the emotional factor

27) What kind of tasks does a pilot need to carry out as soon as they finish the flight?

The pilot will perform the following checklists: after landing checklist and abandon checklist.

28) What are the possible threats on approach and landing?

The possible threats are: a collapse main or nose gear, windshear and strong crosswind.

29) What are some emergency situations that can happen on a flight?

Possible emergencies on the flight are: depressurization, fire on the cargo hold, fire on the toilate, bomb
on board, hyjacks and engine flameout.

30) Do you think aviation contribute to environmental pollution?

I think so, because of the fuel. The fuels used in the plane are pollutants.

31) How was the beginning of your career in aviation?

I started my career in aviation when I started my courses, it was very cool, today I'm waiting for a job
opportunity.

32) How was your flight training?

My training was really cool, I learned a lot about aviation, and got a new career.

33) What is your routine before an early flight?

My morning routine is to have a good breakfast, and prepare for the flight, check the weather, check the
aircraft, prepare the navigation.

34) How can airlines improve flight safety?

in my opinion investing in pilot training with simulators and courses. Also improving the scale to avoid
fatigue.

35) Tell me about your first flight as an airline pilot.

I'm not working as a pilot yet, but my first passenger flight was really cool, I got a little nervous but then
it was normal.

36) What is the difference between V1 and V2?

V1 is the decision speed, continues takeoff or aborts. V2 is the speed to start the climb
37) How will avionics technology be improved in the future?

In my opinion new technologies will improve flight systems. will improve autopilot, important warnings
and better information for pilots.

38) Why do pilots need to have a medical certificate? How is it conducted?

It is necessary because the pilots need good health, the pilots go through various tests, sight, hearing,
heart and blood.

39) What changes can we expect regarding communication between pilots and controllers in the future?

Controller Pilot Data Link CommunicationsThrough text commands the communication will be more
efficient and clear.

40) Tell me about the advice your instructor gave you before your check ride.

At my check the instructor advised me to stay calm and execute all commands efficiently and pay
attention to the flight.

41) What do you think it's necessary to improve your English?

For me at the moment to get a job opportunity, but it is necessary to communicate with other countries.

42) What are the differences between a captain and a copilot's responsibilities?

The differences are: the captain is responsible for the entire aircraft and to keep the flight safe, the co-
pilot is responsible to assist the captain with whatever is needed.
