Political System of Pakistan

Pakistan is a FEDERATION including;


a. Punjab
b. Sindh
c. Balochistan
d. KPK
e. Gilgit Baltistan (Administrative Unit)
f. Islamabad Capital Territory (Capital of Pakistan)
Pakistan is a PARLIAMENTARY DEMOCRACY.
Parliament is all powerful in Pakistan whose members are
DEMOCRATICALLY ELECTED.
There is PARLIAMENTARY FORM OF GOVERNMENT in Pakistan.
PARLIAMENT includes;
a. National Assembly (Lower House)
b. The Senate (Upper House)
c. President of Pakistan
PRIME MINISTER is EXECUTIVE HEAD of the government.
PRESIDENT is the HEAD OF STATE with Nominal Powers.
Powers of PRIME MINISTER:
a. All Administrative/Executive Powers
b. Appointment of Chiefs of Armed Forces
c. Say in legislation
PROVINCIAL AUTONOMY
There is provincial autonomy. All provinces have their elected
governments.
